This is our second visit to this property, we loved the resort so much the first time so wanted to go
& experience the resort in December, the tastefully designed cottages overlooking the snow capped peaks of the Himalayas leaves an everlasting memory,we received a warm welcome by the staff, the standard of the food has been maintained, we enjoyed delicious personalised mouth watering dishes every meal,the breakfast area with its spectacular view of the peaks is etched in our minds, the room rates are much steeper than before as it now has a state of the art Ayurvedic facility,
I feel this is making it rather steep
For regular visitors as it really pinches your pocket, wish the management works out a package for visitors who just want to relax & soak in the beauty of the resort as it undoubtedly has one of the best views, would like to make a special mention of Sunil, who went out of his way to take care of all our needs & made our trip memorable

AyurVAID was a fantastic getaway. The accommodations were the perfect mixture of rustic and comfortable. The views speak for themselves. The food was wonderful, with option of Indian or continental at most meals. Both options were delicious, and very fresh. The health clinic was modern and extensive. We didn't have the opportunity to take advantage of all of the services that they provide, but if you plan to stay at the AyurVAID it's certainly worth setting aside enough time to properly experience it.

Ayurvaid kalmati a perfect blend of state of the art Ayurvedic facility and hospitality center offers a perfect get away destination. The rich ambiences of the cottage s overlooking the snow capped peaks of the Himalayas is mystical. A warm welcome by the staff followed by personal care made our stay all the more pleasant. It would be criminal of us if we don't mention some mouth watering cuisine served in their very own restaurant s ranging from continental to italian Chinese Indian and on and on . The hospital area with its lush gardens is well maintained and a treat to watch. Every corner has its own beauty. The solarium center was the place to be on freezing noon. The Aurea of the meditation centers adds to the soothing experience. Steam rooms and amenities with expertise therapist s . Last but not the least the doctor couples in Dr Rakesh and Dr Aishwarya have given us an everlasting memorable experience at ayurvaid kalmati

It is real good place for family and friends. Here can enjoy nature and take some good ayurvedic treatment with massage to leave your health in good hands of Ayurvedic doctors. The resort is in mid of true nature and good place for relaxation.

Located at a peak, this resort offers a splendid view of the kumaon ranges- nandadevi and others and your ears awaken to the sounds of the chirping birds that come by your window. 9 cottages that are ideal for a couple or a family there is a certain tranqulity and freshness about this place. The rooms have a colonial architecture feel to them.
The inhouse restaurant serves delicious food that serves a different cuisine every day of your stay and definitely try the local kumaon cuisine and the sweet.
We also took the ayurvedic treatment and the doctors there Dr Aishwarya and Dr. Rakesh along with their staff are knowledgeable and ensure your stay and treatment is taken care of.
Do take some time to take some nature walks and forest picnic lunch along with village treks that the staff will be able to help. This is a MUST DO !
