This hotel was booked for us in Delhi by a tour agent who 'knew' the hotel owner apparently. Cant say whether this is true or not... However the hotel was interesting and pleasant enough with lovely, helpful staff. The food was freshly prepared and worth the wait. We felt that it was maybe out of season now, and looking tired - and could do with some sprucing up, especially around the entrance and reception area. There is no wifi in the rooms or on the rooftop area. We were told by someone else who lives there that this hotel is not in a good part of town but we thought it had a lot going, and with a little attention it could be an amazing hotel. It was quite noisy until very late but honestly I have found this in every hotel we've stayed in any of the cities in India. Its hard to escape the noise, and if you want to experience a more authentic India, then noise is something you deal with when staying in the cities...

Good Heritage Hotel Karnot Mahal to visit in jaipur. good services, feels comfort and with old haritage feeling. The location of the hotel was very good and located near to the city & nearest Hawa Mahal place. Staff was helpful and comes for aid for any issue raised.

This is a lovely, charming hotel in a great location. The staff are extra friendly, the manager even setting up a bed in the open air reception to help me check out at 3am! If I'm back in Jaipur again, and I'd like to be, I wouldn't hesitate to stay here.

We loved this place. We've stayed here twice over the past two years. Shishupal and the staff are so welcoming. Shishupal especially went out of his way to help us out. The hotel is atmospheric with many outdoor sitting areas. Karnot Mahal is smack dab in the middle of the Jaipur craziness! It's loud - but that can't be avoided in this area.

Overall it was all about experience living in an old palace...Was bit noisy since it was in mid city...Facilities need to be upgraded such as no TV, no phone, no wifi in room only in reception area...Need more lightings since it's quiet and dark at night...Breakfast too simple can be improved...But if you are looking for an ancient kind of stay, this the place.
