Disappointed

"+" points:
- Everybody is very friendly and helpful;
- The food is good, the restaurant is very pleasant;
- The rooms are pretty spacy and clean;
- Wonderful plants and flowers everywhere, we even saw monkeys! ð
"-" points:
- it's way too far from beaches, shopping or anything interesting. There's no Uber or Ola in Goa, so transport by taxi is very expensive;
- it's actually a wedding venue, so there was a wedding every evening of our stay there, meaning VERY loud music. It's true that most of the parties ended before midnight, so there was no noise preventing us from sleeping. Sadly, the weddings were not even authentic Indian; they played international (mostly American and Portuguese) hits, giving a slightly strange feeling...
- There's a huge mobile communication/TV tower extremely close (10 meters) to the hotel, meaning pretty heavy radiation;
- The water in the swimming pool had a thin film of dust on it, the entire pool area was actually looking like a deserted place, gym room not inviting, Jacuzzi room transformed into a furniture deposit... everything there looked not taken care of.
- Part of the hotel was under construction, so there were specific noises pretty much all day long.
We moved away from Kesarval before our holiday was over. Took another room in a place by the beach.
Sorry to say, but we cannot recommend this place to anybody.
Perfect for a break

Kgr is perfect place for a holiday break with garden surrounded all around the hotel away from city. It's a really peaceful place and pollution free. great for people who want a break from everything.
Breakfast and lunch is alright, not that great and a little expensive , food is also served typical goan and other taste.
Though the hotel is old yet it is well maintained and affordable room rates. Staff is very supportive, courtious and its a wonderful place to stay in goa just 15 mts from the main city .
Great view from balcony

I cannot say that the hotel is bad to stay. It is a budget hotel with nice rooms and great sea food. Good room service and highly secured rooms. Don't miss the golden fried prawns (a starter) in the restaurant.
Pleasure

Very bad experience with reception and restaurant. It takes hours for food to be served. Pathetic waiters. Receptionist very arrogant and slow. When asked for manager she said you can't meet. When asked for room boys she said can't send they are busy. The management's target is only marriage and functions booking. Even the swimming pool is closed for guests mostly. Worst service till date
Quiet Stay Resort That's Quite Away from MainStream Goan Attractions

A resort that is in tail end of South Goa which offers a very rejuvenating and a quiet stay experience away from everything. The place had a large pool but quite unclean as such. The rooms are well done, spacious, with good amenities in the room and a lovely balcony to spend a little of your time in the day with good breeze and nice natural views and even more give yourself a natural kick start in the morning with a "stand in the balcony and gaze into the sky" moments.
The restaurant offers good food but a decent waiting time before food arrives in. The breakfast selection for buffet is limited but filling for a good start in the morning. The walk-ways and walking space available around the entire place is a delight for the time spent at resort.
The staff is certainly quite friendly and ready to help most of the times. The distance of the place from most Goan attractions in North goa can definitely be a turn off, but something worth to put up with if your first half is "stay back at the resort" types.
All-in-all a good stay with good food and quiet & green surroundings with an extra large pool and averagely functioning gym.
