When we chose our holiday all we wanted was a hassle free all-inclusive holiday package away from all that hustle and bustle in busy cities. Reading some of the negative comments from other reviewers I was disappointed to note their expectations. Let me tell you my understanding of this resort. This is not a luxury 5 Star resort although it was self-rated. So, donât expect luxury when you pay around USD100 + a night. If you want luxury spend 3x more and stay in a luxury international hotel and donât complain.
I would like to highlight the following points which made our holiday a memorable one.
1) STAFF: Staff are the heart of this hotel. Every staff member from front of house to back of house always had a smile on their face and was genuine. Food & Beverage staff are exceptional! they are the best! They are efficient, attentive and friendly with a genuine service attitude. I would like to thank personally Danny, Diyah, Thrishna. Henita. Ayu. Joti, Jonnie, Rakah, Yuwa and all others (canât remember all names) for their great service. Thank you.
2) FOOD: Great breakfast selection of western and eastern dishes, cooked to order and beautifully presented. Extensive selection of a la carte dishes for Lunch and Dinner were beautifully presented, consistent in preparation, delicious and we never felt disappointed. I must say I had one of the best steaks ever over there.
3) POOL BAR: This was our hang out area in the late afternoon before dinner sipping down some amazing innovative cocktails.
4) ROOM: Spacious. clean and comfortable room with all amenities with a hot shower. Must mention the Wi-Fi speed was fast.
5) SPA: Spa team is experienced and provided an amazing massage. Most of the time I fell asleep. ð
6) BEACH: Beach area is ok. But I wonât say it is the best beach. If you interested in water sports, there are plenty of them operated by private operators right in front of the hotel.
7) HOTEL: is well looked after and the gardens are well maintained.
8) FOOD & SHOPPING: If you like to eat out there are plenty of options close by, either by walking distance or less than a 10 mins by taxi ride.
We have travelled to many Asian countries before but by far this is the best relaxing holiday we ever had. We will be back!
TIPS:
- Short Day Trips: make sure to shop around to save money
- Currency Exchange: Always go to a reputed licenced place near hotel. Never go to a shopping centre to exchange money. You wonât get a good rate.

Was not up to my expectations. The hotel is ok and the staffs are helpful. Than breakfast is ok as well. The room is clean and big. BUT, the toilet makes constant noises and the shower was not at all satisfying as the water pressure was so low. There were complementary fruits and biscuits given by the hotel but the fruit had maggot in it and biscuit had molds on it. Enough said.

The hotel has very friendly and caring staffs. We wanted to get a tour around Bali and they contacted for us an excellent tour guide. The rooms were spacious and the toilets were exceptionally clean. Regardless, the room presented us with cookies and fruit (Rambuten and some other fruit) and we were quite horrified of what we saw. The fruit had maggots inside and the cookies were moulded. I hope you check the freshness of your products next time.
Breakfast was quite nice, would give 4 stars for the food. Personally enjoyed the Eggs Benedict. The food was fresh and delicious.
Now, the beach, I expected quite a lot for the beach from the pictures I looked online, only to be disappointed. There were trash and seaweed lying around the beach area and the swimming area gave a kind of rotten smell. Though the water was clear, the smell really negates the good things about the beach.
Overall, the hotel was moderately good.

We stayed at the Sadara for the last three weeks in January 2018. We had a ground floor room with our own patio. It was right next to the pool and the beautiful yard. The hotel rooms, and grounds are super clean. The staff is continually cleaning the outside area. Every person that we met on the staff was very, very helpful and friendly. The breakfasts are fabulous. Each day you get a fruit plate with yoghurt and a bread basket with sweet rolls and different breads as well as your choice of juice. You then order your main course from the menu along with the type of coffee or tea that you want. We were always so full that we skipped lunch. The dinner menu had a lot of variety. Everything that we ordered was excellent. The restaurant staff were marvelous. They really went out of their way to make everything great.
This hotel is about an hour to an hour and a half from the main tourist attractions. This location helped to make it a quiet relaxing place to stay. Any time that we wanted to go to see or do something, we ordered a taxi or had a car and driver for the day. We really liked being away from the full tourist hustle and bustle. We will definitely recommend this hotel to our friends.

My wife and I have been at the Sadara Boutique Hotel for three weeks now and are soon heading home. The hotel is very well laid out and beautifully landscaped with lush tropical plants and trees everywhere. The staff are all very friendly and took very good care of us. Since Jan is the start of the rainy season the humidity is very high which makes us appreciate the air conditioning in our rooms. My wife and I would be happy to come back.
