Luxurious rooms

Very good resort with really spacious rooms and a super spacious bathroom. Amazing balcony with nice relaxing chairs. Beds were very comfortable. Staffs were good. Only area of improvement is food. Breakfast menu was boring and almost all items were repitative. Idlies were so hard and all items were cold. Ala-carte menu was ok and dal kichdi was the best. With improvement in food they can easily become no 1 hotel in Badami with their existing beautiful rooms. Resort is located close 6kms from station.

Had been to Badami with my family on a trip and spent a night at Krishna heritage. This is located on outskirts of the town close to historic Badami rock temples.
They have stone villas as well as wood cabins. we opted for the latter. the cabins were new so it was enjoyable. well equipped with cable tv hot water and a.c... ...the basic amenities to keep a family happy. there is a pool and play area for kids. Their restaurant is decent......not gourmet but serviceable. we only stayed a day as purpose was to see the temple but a nice stay and recommended for other travellers who will want a good place to stay while doing the heritage places visit.
Large Rooms!

The rooms are huge! Beside bed they have 2 sitting area, huge balcony with a swing chair, separate dressing room, bathrooms are as big as any other room and have open shower as well. The rest of the property is rather simple, they have a swimming pool as well and noticed some wooden houses. They are surely not as big and don't know the procedure for getting them booked as didn't see them listed online. Restaurant offers both veg and non veg dishes. Food is good, probably the best you get in Badami. The hotel is located approximately 2 KM from Badami caves and is away from hustle and bustle of the city. It has some sugarcane fields around which is an attraction for kids. The only thing is that they are understaffed and need more hands. Staff is courteous but the experience could have been better. There were only 2-3 folks managing the complete show. None the less one of the better places to stay in Badami.
Short stay

Stayed as we were on a trip from Goa.
The welcome was rather bleak as there were no lights on in the reception/restaurant area, no cold welcome drink (not a huge issue) and sullen unwelcoming staff. We were taken to our room which had a double bed for two single ladies, they agreed to change the room. Our new room was huge, clean and thankfully two single beds which were quite hard. The bathroom was also enormous with a complimentary toiletry set with a lot of unnecessary items. The large patio only had one swing chair. There was not a room number on the outside of the room, we were unable to leave the outside light on in the evening and the path was only lit one side so finding the room in the dark was a bit trickey. In the evenings virtually the same meals were served. Main courses were put on the table before starters had been finished so were cold. Bills for drinks were brought before people had finished ordering for the evening so had to keep being amended. We had some early starts during our stay and were given coffee in the reception but staff sleeping on the sofas in reception was a little uncomfortable. There are beautiful gardens but no outside furniture to enable guests to enjoy them and the lovely warm evenings.
However despite all this it was a comfortable stay just needs some tweaking and it could be fabulous.
Best location for a quiet luxurious stay - not for budget travelers

Did enjoy our stay at this hotel, property is what it calls itself - a heritage resort. Rooms are huge and give you a feel of vintage South Indian villas. The rooms actually feel like a suite of sorts with huge washrooms ( never mind the open shower along with it ) , a full enclosure cloak room and a huge balcony. Added to it are ornate wooden furniture.
They have a veg & non-veg restaurant serving decent food and also provide room service. The only problem as with most stand-alone resorts is the lack of trained and adequate staff - best if a corporate hotel group picks up this hotel to improve the services.
They also have a open swimming pool that can be use till 5 pm and might come in handy in the summer months.
Last but not the least, it is away from the chaos of the town, all other hotels are almost in the middle of the Badami market or on the road towards Badami Bus stop/station.
