The property is spacious, peaceful and the biggest plus point is, its closer to the hampi Ruins.
The rooms are although okay, The staff is polite and service , could be better. The food is good but limited in choice.

I read many reviews of Hotel Mayura Bhuvaneshwari..some good some bad, but still decided to book this place for our trip to Hampi. The main reason was that we were 4 ladies and a govt hotel seems safer.
We booked ac deluxe rooms and must say that we were pleasantly surprised on reaching the hotel. The property is huge with green lawns. The AC deluxe rooms were spacious and clean. The staff was polite. The food while not bad was very limited in choice. There were many things not available in the canteen including ice-cream. But since we are not very fussy, we did not mind. Also the breakfast starts after 8. This was an issue since we wished to leave earlier for our sightseeing.
But this hotel is located very close to the ruins. Hampi is like one huge open air museum. Mayura Bhuvaneshwari had a very peaceful atmosphere. It was right in the middle of it all yet far away.
I would definitely prefer staying here rather than in noisy and crowded Hospet.

Best things:
Closest hotel to Hampi ruins.
Specious and Good parking space. The money and time you spend to get to Hampi you can spend to get rooms here. It's is middle of route between Sri Virupaksha Temple and Vittala Temple.
Ok Things:
Avarage Food with price.
Beer available.
Negative:
No room service.
I find staffs mostly courteous and helping in nature. We had a little accident and staff provided ice and allowed us for room service foods.
It was good stay for us. I recommend for AC rooms.

The rooms lacked basic facilities, the staff was impolite and had the typical government job attitude: No customer service at all. The prices were way too high compared to the facilities and services provided. Average wait time for any order placed at the restaurant was more than 45 mins to 1 hour, on one occassion they refused to serve even after an hour. Would not recommend at all.

We stayed in Semi Deluxe room.. room size is small and no space for extra bed.. Bed linens and towels are clean but room looks old and needs urgent renovation..
Food is average.. there are two dining areas.. open dining space available.. Surrounded by greenary..well maintained lawns...
Very nearer to all attractions..
They allowed to keep our luggage before check-in and after check out..
Spacious parking place available..
One of the best option in Kamalapur and Hampi..
