Visited here to celebrate my Anniversary.The location and view are superb. The rooms are spacious, you can play cricket in it. Food is tasty and reasonably priced. The jewel in the crown is the restaurant with valley view. Special mention of MR. Suresh, manager who took special pains to provide early breakfast on checkout day. The flip side is every restaurant and room service bill is to be settled immediately.

The only reason for choosing this hotel was View and view. After reading up on all reviews with respect to the views the Hotel spoke of we ended up here.
Pros - View from all the rooms are exquisite. Try to get rooms on the first floor.
Location - centre of the city, walking distance from Rajas seat and omkareshwara temple and close to abbey falls.
Breakfast is small but good.
Reasonably priced.
Cons- no utilities in the room except bottles of mineral water and soap shampoo.
Rooms are very basic and in urgent need of maintenance. Delux rooms are non-AC.

Fantastic location, near raja seat, valley view from room. One can enjoy sunrise and sunset from room itself.
Food is limited spread but, the limited have GR8 quality.
Rooms are well maintained, hot water , available.

Location of the hotel us the major plus point, can watch great sunsets sitting in your own room! It offers great food at their restaurant (must check time of service beforehand), clean rooms and a polite staff. Hotel is maintained by KSTDC with great care. Recommended for budget travelers.

We visited this place as a family holiday. The hotel is located at the highest point of Madikeri overlooking the valley. All the hotel rooms are facing the valley. The rooms are spacious and nicely done up. At least I didnât expect this in a government in hotel. Neat and clean rooms good parking 360° view and the latest addition swimming pool on the edge of Valley. It has got the best accessibility to all the tourist interest.
