This place turned out to be a pleasent surprise. Very neat, clean and large Air-conditioned rooms.
Food was also pretty tasty although menu was a bit restricted. The entire staff was quite enthusiastic and made the stay a pleasant one.
Try and get the rooms facing the fort if possible.

We stayed at this Hotel on our way from Thane to Bangalore for the night on 13 Nov 2017. The Mayura Yatri Nivas is very close to the Chitradurga fort. Since we reached after dark , around 1800 hrs and left in the morning around 0500 Hours, we could not see the fort. We booked Ac double room and the room was nice, spacious with attached spacious and clean bath room. We had food in the hotel only and it was good. Only issue with this property was that the staff were not well trained, though good, cooperative and helpful. The Hotel is away from the Town and quite and peaceful. The stay at this hotel is perfect.

was driving down towards Pune and planned a halt at Chitradurga ... Mayura Yatri Niwas was the only good looking place in research for a good staying place there...
Infact I realised that he as right after reaching there ..
The place is ok... No much choice there anyway.. u need to book through online sites .. the location is great ..bang opposite the Chitradurga fort... The gen cleanliness of place is ok... The staff is also ok... The food is also good...the rooms are small but fyn ..
Had some unpleasant incident there but won't mention it considering it a specific issue ..but definitely I have ensured that it won't happen with anyone ever there in future ....
The entry to resort is a narrow road ..
Overall the stay was fyn .. as I said there are very limited choice there as it is..

Rooms are awesome. We to AC rooms facing the fort. The resort/hotel is clean and in the best location. Just opposite to the fort.
Behavior of the staffs are very good.
Food could be a more improvised for the north Indian tourists.

Had been to this hotel after review from trip advisor and it's very well maintained and also very calm, also has a very good view of the fort.
Since it's off from the city junction it's calm.wort for money.
