Stayed in this hotel after almost a year and I was sad to the deterioration in the quality of service, food etc. Hope the hotel will regain its old glory and attract and retain customers. I found many dissatisfied guests

Grand rooms in the old block are excellent. Old world charm with exclusive balconies. Very spacious rooms colonial style décor. Very large bed. Room service takes a bit long time. The complimentary breakfast was okay with good spread of kerala dishes.

I stayed in Mascot hotel for a night .I was bit apprehensive because of certain reviews regarding maintenance and poor quality of rooms reported to non renovation .
I found the room to be very well maintained .The wash room was clean with essential toiletries.Regarding the room ,it was very big having King size bed and a good sit out / balcony for a nice relaxation . Restaurant was good though the rates are bit on a higher side .It was one of the iconic hotels in Trivandrum and worth staying .Rooms have coffee maker,mini fridge etc also

The rooms are fairly large sized but the amenities are poorly maintained. The breakfast buffet is not manned adequately and there is a long wait for any hot food. The appams were soft and poorly cooked. The food was not up to the mark. The swimming pool was there but had no water. There is a lot of language problem with the staff. There is not much understanding of english among the staff. However, the management was good enough to ring up and tell us that one of us had left a piece of clothing behind and we could go back and retrieve it.

The hotel is near the railway station.The rooms are very big.It is british style hotel.All room roofs are wooden furnished.The stairs are made of woods.The security is very good as it is government hotel.Room service is very good.Resturant is very nice.Altogether a very nice stay..ð
