Small hotel with quick check in. Better rooms on upper floor away from the street. We stayed here on a hot night and the room was hot, even with window open. Our supper was asparagus soup, duck la orange, baked potato, and cherry/apple pie- all tasty.
Breakfast was simple but adequate.

Despite its name, this hotel is not in the center of Nevers. It is 15-20 minutes walk from the old town and the commercial center and restaurants. But it is a nice hotel that is very well run with friendly staff and excellent service. Being so far out of the center it's easier to eat in their restaurant which is very good with excellent service.
As others have noted the rooms are not very large, but the space is well organized and all is very clean.
Overall, a good place to stay in transit.

Stayed for one night after driving from the Costa Brava en route to England. Great greeting when we arrived. Even offered an English menu so we could review I. Our room before visiting the restaurant. The restaurant was pretty and tastefully decorated. Attentive staff who were charming and efficient. The start and desert buffet was a wonderful temptation as you enter the restaurant. The food was divine and I would highly recommend. The deserts were worth the wait! Free car parking in a secure location just 50metres from the hotel. Big rooms with modern decor. Very comfortable beds. No iron or ironing board. Immaculate bathroom and the room was very quiet with also good heating/cooling controls. A efficient hotel run by people who definitely take pride in their work. She for money but not at the expense of quality. Will definitely use again en route to Spain or Italy.

The hotel was okay for our one night stay but front desk staff was brusque and dismissive of our inability to connect to the wifi. They provided wifi passwords that did not work for several in our group. Otherwise, our room was nice although small. There was no refrigerator. The dining room is not large but managed for our group of nearly 40. Sit-down dinner and breakfast buffet were good.

The rooms are "smallish" but clean and well appointed. The location is great for visiting Nevers' attractions. The staff are most welcoming as well as helpful. The dinner buffet is a true added bonus. Definitely worthwhile!!
