Ok first and foremost rule about booking a hotel in goa is always book the hotel nearby or walkable distance to the beach. There is no beaches close to this hotel for atleast 4 kilometers. The hotel is a nice hotel no doubts on that but there is no taxi or auto available anywhere in walking distance. It's like a barren land. The only way you can go to some place is by calling up the agent who arranges the taxi referred by the hotel. His names Michael and the rates are 2200 for every trip and that's like really a rip off. The hotel food is good but the complimentary breakfast is pathetic. The rooms have these automated card keys which almost everytime seem to fail and we have to rush to the reception to get it fixed. Then this is the first hotel I have been to in goa which did not have a bar. I was shocked to open my fridge in the room to find it empty. Finally, another incident happened was a couple in another room ended up in a huge fight in the middle of the night and created a huge ruckus at 2 in the night. Woke up literally everyone in the hotel. It took like ages for someone from the reception to come up and solve the problem. My aged folks who were in the other room were very much shaken up by the huge chaos. Bottom Line is Do not visit this hotel if u plan to hang out in the beaches and go for the parties... Stay here only if u have a rich relative you want to visit in dona paula.
Clean L hotel Eden but extremely rude restaurant staff!!!!!

We were staying at another hotel in Panjim which is nearby to L'Eden Hotel where our friends were staying. We came to visit them n check out this property owned by Mr. & Mrs. Advani from Mumbai and really liked the rooms we saw n design n interiors. We were considering to book here for that day n on our subsequent trip to Goa since we are frequent travelers here. But what happened next changed our perception totally..... It was around around post 3 to5 pm on Sunday 12th of November 2017. we had alread checked out from our previous hotel during the morning time n were roaming around in Panjim n we landed at Eden n were waiting for our other 2 friends to arrive. we decided to order some meals at the dining area with red chairs (which was completely devoid of any customers) n one of the staff members in gray tshirt(dont know his name because nobody we saw were wearing nametags) replied very rudely saying that we cannot order for Dal tadka, Biryani & jeera rice b'cos the time was up. After that we insisted n the staff made an angry face, said he will let us know n stormed into a big black n silver door. we could hear some yelling from inside between that restaurant staff n presumably the kitchen people. The staff came back n told us this time even more rudely again that we have to compulsorily order from the (exorbitantly priced) all day dining menu which was so small that we dint even realise when it started & when it ended. There was a lady staff at the small counter to the right who said something to that staff who was speaking rudely to us n he got into a spat with her as well n told her to mind her own business. We had enough of their arrogannce n tantrums & they were showing off like they were doing us a favour. They could not serve us something as basic as a simple chicken / dal dish nor any beers at the restaurant either,, what kind of a Goa hotel is this which does not serve these basic things to customers who are willing to pay.... Nowhere have I seen that any restaurant denies to serve food to their customers because of the timing(that too during daytime especially when it is completely empty n staff is sitting idle). I mean we have traveled to so many places in India n abroad this is not the right kind of attitude for people from the service industry. The restaurant was completely empty that day which was somewhat awkward for a Sunday evening in Goa n now we figured out why nobody wants to eat here because of this lousy attitude!!!....The TV on the wall was blaring loudly with some crass movie being played on it. After the arguement we had the staff member proceeded back to watch the movie without even apologising. We knew that there was no hope to get our food here n it was also impossible for us to be able to have have a decent conversation with them.... Needless to say we felt very insulted & walked out of there ....This is sheer unprofessionalism from a hotel which is built n designed so well n maintained so spick n span.... But as the saying goes everythings isnt what meets the eye. Our friends staying there too were feeling embarassed due to the above incident. The staff here don't know to respect guestss nor to respect women!!!!
Our advice to the owners n management is to please teach your staff to behave n get your act together. Maybe the staff is not getting paid well or don't want to work properly want to only sit n chill in the restaurant watching movies, You need to please check this out as it was a very pathetic experience for us n no guest who is willing to pay for the services should be ever subjected to this kind of humiliating treatment by your staff!!!

No point of going there if you want to enjoy yourself. Its in Panaji which is 30 mins and 1200 inr to candolim and the beaches.
Breakfast takes ages as dishes finish and new ones take time to come put. No sea view.
Nice and comfortable stay at L'Hotel Eden

The overall experience and our stay at the hotel was nice. Me and my husband we here last week from 22nd Dec 2017 till 27th for 5 days. The complementary breakfast is quite good and healthy. The hotel room is nice and clean. We took the Premium room with terrace so it was the good. However a few cons or some improvements required are - the hotel wifi is very slow which should be better. The furniture in the room seems old with a lot of scratches. It can be improved by a nice polish to make the room more beautiful. Overall a good stay. We liked it even more because it near to Panjim and we could go for our morning walks to Miramar beach or towards Cida de Goa. The location is really nice if you are looking for a peaceful and relax environment. Much better than staying in north goa which is extremely crowded.
Superb
