We stayed in this boutique hotel on a 5 day wine tour of the region, our room 375 I believe would be classed as a family room as it had an extra bed, the bed was comfortable but the size of the room was not adequate for more than two people, very limited storage for hanging clothes only drawer space in the bathroom, this room had a good view over the roof tops to the old cite. It was as well that we could open windows to cool the temperature of the room. The hotel had no lift facilities. Breakfast was served, limited menu which became boring, the only option for anything hot was a boiled egg. The breakfast could be improved with fruit being available.The receptionists were very friendly and helpful with restaurant bookings

Small but cozy hotel next to Carcassonne La Cite . It takes only 5 walking min to reach main entrance of Carcassone from the Hotel.
This three star hotel offer a very good price- quality relation .
The hotel has small swimming pool tempered at27C.
We stayed in a huge suite with beds for up to 6 people at very affordable price.
It's an excellent place if you plan to stay for a few nights in Carcassone .
The reception staff are very friendly and ready to help you with any need .

My wife and I and brother in law and his wife stayed at the hotel for a week at the end of September. The hotel is in a great location about 300m from the Citie and the place is very well maintained and the staff, particularly Evelyn, were extremely helpful and obliging. The only major disappointing aspect was the room sizes ours No272 was described as a large room but it was small with no real room for storage and suitcases especially as we were there for a week. I think it may be ok if you are only there for a few days/weekend but pretty cramped for a longer stay.

This hotel is one of several associated hotels situated near the old fortified city. The building is old, but has been renovated to modern standards and is bright and airy. Although it fronts a main road, the area to the rear of the hotel is a pleasant and quiet urban area. Our room fronted the main road, but traffic noise was not a problem if French doors were closed. We found a few negative issues. The internet is extremely inconsistent with continual dropouts and the need to go through a laborious process to reconnect. The bathroom is small and not at all ergonomic. The shower is over the bath and you have to negotiate the vanity and the toilet to access the shower (not sure if all rooms were like this..we were in 276). Difficult to explain, but might be a challenge for those more senior.
Apart from that, rooms were clean and bright and the staff were very pleasant and helpful. The location is very convenient for the old city. There are a multitude of eateries in the old city, or in the neighbourhood between the hotel and the old city. We walked from the railway station to the hotel. Probably just a little far with luggage. We enjoyed our stay in Octroi.

4 couples stayed here and found it to be very close to medieval city. Breakfast was 13 euros, but good value and served to us. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Small outdoor pool available. Would stay there again.
