We stayed here for the 6th time in Jan '18. Yes it's basic but always clean sheets and towels, loads of hot water and the room was always spotless, you really cant ask for more for the price.
It's only a short walk to the beach and there are so many restaurants near by you really are spoiled for choice and not to forget the amazing Garden Restaurant attached to the hotel, the food and service are second to none!!
Shops are on your doorstep and there's a very good chemist at the top of the road near the roundabout, they speak very good English.
Lots to do, lots to see and probably too much to eat!

Considering the charges / night .
Suggestion : from an Indian guest
1 . Should be more attentive on maintainance e.g. in my room the bathroom rack was broken , fluroscent light was out of order , no mosquito repellent though the insects were very much there in the room no. 202 .
2 . Some more toiletries can be added with really no cost .
3 . Bath towels are not enough to cover your waistline. Can easily be put the bigger one .
4 . I have experienced the foreigners the priority for the management not the Indians .

We stayed here for one night whilst travelling around Goa, rooms are basic but clean and comfortable with everything you need. The hotel is in a central location so easy to get to the beach and everything else in Colva. The hotel has a nice rooftop bar and a restaurant that offers stunning food which are both worth a visit.

Can you imagine our room was open after room cleaning when I came back from outside, and management was like staff must have forgot!!! WTH!
One of the worst stay at Goa ever, never had such a bad experience with hotel booking.
Management is ZERO there, you can't even expect to get service.
It is only for stay which includes sleep at night, as whenever you will start asking for any service, be it either room service, food, water, hot water, toiletries, clean towels, floor cleaning.... you WILL GET NOTHING!!!!
They behave like, you can stay or leave from here, this is our place and we keep it this way only.
Such low facilities and weak management it is for people who just want a cloakroom for keep luggage.

La Ben has a faded Portuguese feel about the Hotel, the room I had was very pleasant with 2 balconies! The view of the palms and pigs! Was charming, at least I knew the bacon was fresh!
The room had TV, fan and air-conditioning that worked
The house keeping was good, room clean and bedding changed regularly; the en-suite bathroom was clean and functional but a little jaded
The restaurant excellent and choice good, pity package did not include breakfast.
A lovely stay with the lady owner and husband running this really professionally, knowing British tastes as lady was from Leicester!!
