nature resort with trees and birds music. nice villa/cottage. need to improve on maintenance of washrooms, common utilities like refrigerator, tea maker need to be provided.
there is dining table provided but outside food is not permitted.
staff need to be more proactive.
the road leading to the resort need immediate attention as it is in bad shape.
overall i would say it as a 3 of 5experience.
breakfast is average.

Nice place, good service, calm atmosphere, privacy, clean rooms, good for family trip, night life is awesome, but road in not good, foods are costly, clean pool, pleasant stay, small pool, too many steps to climb. Good resort.

Do not go by the photos and the fact that they call themselves a resort. While the property and so called villas look great from the outside, the rooms inside are tacky and comparable to rooms in a 2 star hotel. Few things that didnât work for us for the price we paid (7000 a night on a flash sale!):
-Cold breakfast buffet - pre cooked dosas, omelettes, bhaturas, chana. No heating mechanism. Food temp was blamed on the climate
- Linen looks old and was stained
- Basic tacky room decor
- Limited Kerala cuisine items. Fish fry wasnât what it should be. Food was average at best.
- the existing swimming pool is tiny while a new one is under construction.
- One of the spa rooms has no steam bath facility which is essential in a Kerala massage. If you like the steam bath, ask for the room in advance! I discovered hard way
It is not a resort by any standard. You cannot spend your time within the premises. Rooms are gloomy, entertainment facilities are limited. Not good value for money.

The stay in Lakkadi resort was awesome . Amazing location. ( a bit difficult to bring the car since its very steep and slippery during rain ) Good rooms and staff . The room is huge and very quit and peaceful .

Lakkidid village resort is located amidst a lush green location surrounded by hills, mountains, streams, and forests- a total tryst with nature. The villas are spacious and clean with their own individual sitting rooms and balcony/sit outs.
For the price that has been paid, one would expect the villas to be air conditioned although at this time of the year the beautiful climate compensates for the lack of it. In my opinion, larger screen tvs, and brighter lights in the bathroom are required.
Service was quick , Courteous and friendly. Food is good, although only limited in variety.
The pool is a bit of a disappointment-tiny!
there is poor wifi and mobile connectivity so if you are the types who needs to stay connected this is not the place for you.
If you would like to relax,take in the beauty of nature, listen to the birds chirping and refresh yourself, then head here. Lakkidi resort is located close to most of the sightseeing spots although the approach road to the resort requires attention.
Overall a pleasant experience.
