Booked a triple share room during reservation, was proposed by SPG central reservation with Club room to accommodate third person in the room.
The Club room 101, has no difference to Deluxe room 102 except larger in room size. Additional roll-away bed was required for third person. You may imagine how bad is the quality of the roll-away mattress charged at GBP 60/night, even for small Asian weight, the mattress unable to support the weight and touching the metal bars of bed frame. After suffered for first night, I called service center next day to ask for interim solution, I got an answer that this is a standard bed and nothing can be done. I insisted to send someone up to assess. I proposed to have double layers of mattress instead to the service staff who came to help.
Besides, bad trained front desk staffs on several issues
1) Attempted to charge me for room even it was a pre-paid rate.
2) Bad service recovery to resolve roll-away bed. I am fine even to change to family room with lower in room rate, without asking for refund as long as having a good rest.
3) I was attempted to be charged for breakfast during check out which was included in the Club room booking as follows

If you wish to have third person in the room, do not ask for roll-away bed option at Club Room, get a family room with double queen beds would be a better option and cheaper. I stayed with The Westin Dublin following days and have no issue with the roll-away bed provided by Westin.

My wife and I have just spent 2 nights at the LM Piccadilly for our Ruby anniversary. The hotel is fabulous and in a perfect location as we had booked to see a show just up the road. As a nice gesture for our anniversary we were upgraded to a club room on the first floor as this floor has all just been refurbished. The room was perfect with a massive queen bed and the pillows were great, as I always have problems sleeping usually. The rain shower was great and the toiletries lovely. Our room was looking over the main road but you could not hear any traffic at all.
We had breakfast in the Terrace every day and the breakfast was everything you would expect from a hotel of this quality. All the staff from the reception, doorman, concierge and Terrace staff were very friendly and professional. The LM Piccadilly is well worth staying in when in London, especially for the theatre district. Fantastic stay, and than you for making our anniversary stay so special.

I know I've stayed there before and written about it, but I think it's only fair to repeat my view that LM Piccadilly is a great place to stay if you're looking for a location in the middle of the most exciting part of London with easy access to all the sights, parks and most Museums.
I was there in November and January and on both occasions I received great service from the very attentive staff. Yes, I know the rooms are not modern, but they fit the purpose if you're in town to enjoy all that London has to offer and are looking for a place to sleep and relax. Remember to bring your swimming gear, there's a pool in the basement waiting to be used:-).

The "family room" sleeps four (2 adults and two children) and is very roomy, especially for a London hotel. It is almost like a large suite. The location of the hotel is fantastic, only steps from the underground and Piccadilly Circus. Service was friendly, professional. We only had one problem, which was the long delay in room service, but the courteous hotel management took this off of our bill. The room was clean and comfortable. The front desk staff is great. Good breakfast (ours was included in our room package). All in all, a great place to stay, especially if you need a Family room.

I have been attending this gym regularly and have seen a real decline in standards and cleanliness. Expect more from Le Meridien hotels really disappointing I hope to see an improvement in standards soon
