Excellent sized rooms vary well appointed.
Excellent bathroom.
Breakfast good.
All staff are very polite, welcoming and friendly with good local knowledge.
Have used this hotel regularly throughout the year.

The hotel was lovely, the quad room we had was big and you could walk out on to the swimming pool are which was lovely. The bath room and toilet were separate and were the bathroom was lovely and light and well equipped the toilet did not flush and was a bit shabby. The breakfast was worth every penny. My children made their own waffles which was great. Great find and will use again if in the area.

How I wish we had been here a week earlier when we had the 35 degree weather! There is a nice looking pool here with loungers, in the courtyard!! ( it was cool and rainy for our visit!).
We loved the mattress, had a great sleep.
About a five minute walk to the gare. A bit longer walk to Le Cellier, nice dinner.
Out the hotel door, turn right, turn right at the corner, towards the gare and about half way down the street, on the right, is a small family owned champagne winery. It looked closed, so bang on the door and someone will come! We had a very interesting tour of the winery, a tasting and came back with a chilled bottle to enjoy (poolside would have been preferable!)
Breakfast buffet is very good. Lots of variety.
Front desk staff very friendly and accommodating.

I would be passable if the aircon had worked on a night when 28c. It's the reason I booked here. Not impressed that reception go at 2230. Otherwise seems very pleasant. Functional and basic. Typical French.

We visited the Hotel Le Saint Nicolas for a 2 days stay in an industrial site 30 minutes from Bar sur Aube. My camera was in the internal "dependance" by the pool. Weather was too cold to profit from the pool. Room were spacious, but a bit too cold at night (stay during end of September). Breakfast was satisfactory. Very calm at night, I had a nice sleep.
