In the laps of Nature!

We stayed at Terra camp for one night and selected Tent for our accommodation. Tents were average; obviously it won't be superior like a room. Bit good experience for a tent stay. Food was good. Ambiance was nice, surrounded with hills and trees. It is very far from the main road (20 km kaccha rasta); but Google is there to help you.. Surely visit if you go away from crowd and need a peaceful stay. Overall good experience.

If you are planning for weekend.. Definitely go for it. It is good for family and friend hangout but not good for business. If you want to be with nature, it is the place you must visit. Rooms are overly charged if you wish to pay over there but if you can book online you will get discounts.
Natures beauty, dont expect Luxurious things from Terra Camp Resort

It definitely lacks on number of staff. There were just 3 boys, running around trying to help everyone. They do their best to help all, always smiling and always helping.
Overall, the services are neither good not bad, average. The place is worth only if you get the room for ~2.5 to 3K. And you want a quiet stay, away from city and you don't want to visit typical Mahabaleshwar tourist spots.
Not at all worth the price.

We had booked this room for one night. The access road to the site is pathetic. It's around 11kms from main Panchangani-Mahabaleshwar road. We reached there on Saturday afternoon, around 12.30. We had booked a "LUXURY" tent. There was nothing luxurious in the tent. But it was definitely not bad. The bathroom was clean. Hot water was available from morning 7.30 to 10.30.
We ordered lunch, one veg biryani and paneer handi for lunch. It's not mind blowing but its good. The options are very limited in the menu. For dinner, we HAD to order chinese since they didn't have many options in punjabi. Preferably don't order chinese. Their cook can't make chinese. The breakfast buffet was strictly average, they gave breakfast because it was included in the room plan. The tea was pathetic and for a tea lover like me, this definitely doesn't score good.
The tent doesn't have a fan. They provide you with a table fan with a stand. It suffices in Mahabaleshwar, since the weather is not very hot.
The campus is good. There is a hill on the backside where you can go trekking. But that's it. There's nothing else to do. They had archery, which was interesting, and the normal stuff badminton table tennis and carrom. They had bicycles, which were broken. Considering this place is so far from the main Mahabaleshwar and Panchangani attractions, they should have lot many things to do in the campus.
It definitely lacks on number of staff. There were just 2 boys, running around trying to help everyone. They do their best to help all, always smiling and always helping.
Surprising was that there was no phone on the reception. We had to take the number of one of the staff and call him whenever we needed anything. Sometimes his phone was not reachable. Ours was the second last tent in the campus, and we had to walk a long way to find one of the boys.
Overall, the services are neither good not bad, average. The place is worth only if you get the room for ~2.5 to 3K. And you want a quiet stay, away from city and you don't want to visit typical Mahabaleshwar tourist spots.

The Positives:
NONE that the resort possesses other than the fact that it is in Panchgani, which has such beautiful landscape.
The Negatives:
- The 10km interior road leading up to the property is very frustrating and keeps you at a painful distance from everything good! You might still do it, to find light at the end of the rough ride - but alas!
- There are LITERALLY 3 people who run the property - grossly under-staffed. So the service levels can be imagined. One look at the staff and you know what levels of cleanliness to expect elsewhere.
- The location obviously requires you to have a car at your disposal but has done little to enable that. Hardly any parking space, no one to open the gates for you at a steep climb entrance and NO LIGHTS!!
- The tents are at quite a distance from the main reception area, restaurant and main gate. It takes a steep climb on several uneven stairs to reach one from the other. Mind you, there's no room service which means you HAVE to do this distance, all the time!
- The kitchen is one small sham of a room with such bad lighting, I wonder what all ingredients go into the food besides the food-grade ones.
- The restaurant is more like a terrace partially covered with glass panes and jammed doors that can neither be closed or opened fully. Very badly maintained for cleanliness and repairs. Then comes the special addition of the stray cats and dogs wandering around your food and the tables.. yes you're reading it right - stray animals all over the "restaurant".
- The food itself - I can hardly say - no salt, no quantity, no taste, no plates, no service
- As for the tents themselves, it's a pathetic story. They've probably never ever been cleaned since they were put up. The structure is uneven, the zip doors and windows are stupidly designed for closing from the wrong side! In any case, they don't close completely, so don't sweat. Supremely unhygienic and filthy. If you've been to real luxury tents before, please forget that experience. 'cause these are nothing luxurious and not tents - they're best described as slummy huts.
The "bathroom" part of the tent makes things even worse. The water keeps logging, hot water is by pure luck and the shower spouts water in every direction except on your body.
so.. unless you're observing penance for something really bad you did, keep away from this "Luxury Camp"!!
