This was my first time in Nusa Lembongan and I was mesmerised by the beauty of the island and its people. This resort is situated in a beautiful spot right next to the beach. You can see the beautiful Mount Angkor from the restaurant. The view is amazing.
Stayed here for three nights and enjoyed every bit. Staff here are pleasant especially Nick from reception. He gave a lot of tips on where to go and what to see. We got a scooter for about Aud 10 per day. Didnât get the best of their bikes but I guess itâs because lots of customers hire bike with less/no riding experience and damage the bikes. So I totally understand. They also organise snorkelling, tours etc. which we didnât eat the time for unfortunately.
The food was average and breakfast could use some variety. But I have to stress again that the view is amazing from the restaurant.
They have two swimming pools. Very clean.
Our hut/room was very beautiful! The outdoor bathroom was great during the day! Housekeeping was efficient.
Overall, the location and the staff makes this resort amazing. Definitely recommended!

Iâve read some of the criticisms of this place and might respond to those. We booked for 5 nights and after looking elsewhere decided to stay for a further 4 nights as it was in the same price range for similar places. I wouldnât recommend tamarind bay as a venue but it has magnificent views to Mt Agung and if you have a scooter it doesnât matter where you stay. It was nice to take time out from the pool and general relaxation to visit other areas. The seaview pool is beautiful and easy to laze the day around. Our room was big, tastefully decorated, comfortable king size bed and mini bar (lots of other venues didnât have this and for us it meant we could supply our own cold drinks). The outdoor bathroom was a delight, even in the rain, and we didnât find the mosquitos a problem. We did bring mosquito repellent with us but rarely used it. Our villa was sea view but sandwiched between 2 huts that were set further forward. This was a bit disappointing but we could still see the sea. We could have changed to garden view for cheaper but opted to stay put. The breakfast was really good, no frozen pastries for us, and consistent every day. The service was consistently polite and friendly in beautiful Balinese style. When extending our visit we looked at other places on mushroom beach (a much nicer beach venue where swimming in the water would be more recommended as there is an oil film on Tamarind Bay) but decided to stay put. To put my review in an age context we are an early 60s couple who needed to relax from our busy working lives. However I observed a number of younger couples enjoying the relaxing environment.

We had an Ocean view hut and could definitely see the ocean. Our hut was also right next to the pool and Restaurant which also made our stay quite pleasant.
The Restaurant has a very wide selection of foods and overlooks the Ocean, its beautiful.
The Staff were very friendly and helpful which always make a stay more comfortable.
We hired a Scooter from the Hotel which was only $10AU for the entire day. They were very flexible with the timing and I don't think we returned the key until after dinner time with no questions asked - Though I should note we were not given a helmet to use. However we also did not ask for one.
We also did Snorkelling through the Hotel which I would highly recommend. From memory it was $30USD for two of us and someone took us out on one of the little local boats (just my Partner and Myself which was nice). We were out for about 3-4 hours and he took us to four different spots where we viewed an amazing amount of beautiful coral and bright coloured small and large fish. The Hotel even gave us some breads, which we forgot about when we dived in - However the Captain noticed and chucked the bread in for us at each spot.
The Hotel is located a little out of the way from the main part of the Island. You could easily walk there, however with the heat its easier to get the scooter!
You can also walk along the beach and pass through all the resorts. There is a footpath along the beach that goes up the cliffs and it shows some amazing views. There is also a spot to sit that overhangs on the rocks - So lovely.
There are also many things to view on the Island, which I am sure you probably also know about which is why you are visiting the island in the first place, so I wont go on about it.
Overall, would recommend.

It's over priced. Let's get that out of the way now. They could not locate our booking despite booking with booking.com
I had to show email verification and even then the guy on the desk seemed annoyed that he had to do any work. I had communication with the hotel prior to arrival regarding booking an extra night but again they had no record of this. They also didn't follow through with discounted boat costs.
Our booked room was supposed to be an Ocean View but you could barley catch a glimpse through the other Villa's.
Everything else is just OK. Out of curiosity I took a look at several other complexes nearby and for about a third of the price you could get the same level of quality only 200 meters away.
Do your homework.

Some huts claim to be Ocean View but it'll be obstructed by other huts and the restaurant. So get that expectation right.
Given its price you definitely expect more. Compare it with other hotels and you realise that there are better hotels / resorts at a fraction of the price.
Tamarind beach has also lost its lustre so you won't get much of a view staying here.
Food was mediocre.
Without any comparison, this place may seem above average but when you compare it with other resorts it is not valid for money.
Only consolation is that it is located near yoga dunia and some other nice beaches in the southern part of lembongan
