This hotel is well placed for exploring Lisbon. It is very clean and the staff are very helpful. We very much enjoyed our stay.
However, the noise from the street below was particularly annoying and I do understand it is in the middle of the city. But the party-people seemed to spend most of the night outside the hotel shouting. And this why Iâm only giving a 4 star rating.

I was wondering about the silence for the location where we stay. We had a lovely design and very confortabke bed. I enjoy the nice staff and every night there. Every thing was perfect. Location and staff, design, attention to the guest. I can recommend it.

For our first visit in Lisbon, we reserved a night at the LX Boutique Hotel. Interesting decoration in the rooms, nice comfort but really small bathroom, with strange materials in the tube of the shower. Mattress also can be reviewed, that was not my best night in an hotel.Our windows was on the back of the building which give you only view on walls.
Breakfast buffet is nice, really good and quality food.

We loved our stay at The LX Boutique Hotel. The staff was extremely helpful and made sure we were as comfortable as possible. The location is great, walkable to everything and very close to a metro station. Our favorite part was that they had a tray of pastel de nada and port every evening. It was the perfect way to end the night! We would definitely stay here again, and even tried when our flight was cancelled...but they were full.

I stayed in a Riverside room which was nice but very small for the price and the bathroom is a weird box inside the room. Great location. Nicely decorated and the hotel is stylish. Drug dealers abound just outside the hotel and I was offered drugs every time I left the hotel which was odd but that's not the fault of the hotel obviously.
The main problem was when I returned to my room one day and I found the door to my room was open; I was obviously alarmed and thankfully nothing was stolen. The hotel management found that a cleaning staff member had left the door open but they did not seem very interested or even offer much in the way of an apology and certainly no compensation. I contacted the manager afterwards to get his response; he said he would investigate but I never heard from him again which I think is very poor. Such a security breach should surely warrant some kind of compensation and I was left feeling they did not think it important.
