We have just returned from a 5 night stay at the Magnolia and were not disappointed. We opted for a standard room which was not only large, with a very generous bed (larger than a king size), was very comfy and was complete with a fantastic wet-room with a rain dance shower and a separate bath. The room was exceptionally clean with the option to have towels changed daily. If I had one gripe it was some of the towels were past their best. The fridge in the room was excellent and really useful for drinks and milk. We knew in advance that standard rooms have no kettle (I think superior rooms may have a coffee machine) so took our own. There is a large TV but no english channels (not that we watch TV when we are away anyway).
We stayed RO so canât comment on breakfast, the bar was not open during our time there either. The pool area was small and had limited sun beds which did not seem to create an issue while we were there but I could imagine it would be an issue during busier periods. We did not use the spa on site.
Reception staff were very courteous and efficient. The availability of free coffee 05.30-08.00 in reception for early risers could be useful for some.
The resort itself was beginning to close down as it is end of season but there are still plenty of choices for food and drink. We went to Cambrils on the bus for â¬2 each single which we would recommend for a change of scenery.

This hotel is absolutely stunning! You will not be disappointed! We upgraded to a superior room which wasn't overly expensive, well worth it! Balcony had space for two sun loungers as well as chairs. Bathroom was stunning too! Super comfy bed and lovely linen. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone thinking of travelling to Salou.

Great location just minutes from the promenade restaurants and shops but set back on a quiet avenue. The rooms are large with walk in shower seperate toilet so very good, comfy big bedroom. Spotless and clean towels and soaps, shower gel, body cream replenished daily. Lovely Staff. Good food high standard, we were half board, buffet breakfast, but you can ask for omelette or fried eggs and girls get it from kitchen very promptly. Meals at night buffet starters and dessert excellent and main course from a very extensive main course menu, my only negative would be the plates are not heated even though there is bacon sausage etc on the breakfast buffet.The bar and pool bar was closed when we were there but you can get drinks from reception. TV english channels not even BBC NEWS. Never the less this is a great hotel if you like quiet no activity programme which suited us and it is a very relaxing environment thanks to all at Magnolia

Just back from a weeks stay here and I have to say its one of the nicest hotels I have stayed in.
The staff are extremely helpful. My shorts blew off the balcony on the first day and the girl at reception told me when I came back she would have them for me. And on my return I was greeted with my shorts at reception and I could swear they had washed and pressed them.
The rooms are Top class. Very modern with all amenities and the beds are so comfortable.
Pool area is lovely and modern and because its adults only its very quiet.
Will definitely return.

We have just returned home from Salou and we had a very enjoyable stay at the Magnolia. Our room was spacious,modern and high standard of cleanliness. The bathroom was huge with a great walk in shower and separate wc. Super king bed very comfy. Situated on a lovely leafy tree-lined avenue which our balcony overlooked. The staff were friendly and efficient. Breakfast service was good with plenty of choice on the buffet. Wish we had tried out the buffet dinner. Also never got around to making use of the great games room with snooker, table tennis so we will definitely be back. Lovely quiet poolside with loungers and seating.
