Thanks for Makassar Golden Hotel. Old Hotel but very comfort for my family. Big room, clean with sea view. Near to Losari Beach. My childen very interesting and happy when playing in swimming pool. You must try it. This hotel veri friendly for you.

I booked & prepaid non refundable 2 seaview rooms for 1 night stay at this supposedly 4 star hotel. Large rooms however everything in the hotel, the room & bathroom are in desperate need for change and makeover. The staff looks unhappy although tried their best to serve. When I said everything, it meant all needs improvement include towel & linen, availability of hot water that works, the balcony doors that shut & not rusty incl.the rails, the unsoiled fridge, wash basin, bath tub especially toilet. The hotel has lost its glory, it used to be top hotel in town. There are other waterfront hotels newer, cleaner & with better International standard of service. We had no choice to stay there since we could not get a refund, luckily we only booked & paid for 1 night stay. The only positive side of this hotel is the convenient location and the view.

We stayed here from 24-28 march 2017.
First night everything was ok, because we arrived at 2.00am.
Second night when the day was rain, our roof room is leak. And we have to move to other room.
But the air conditioner of this room seemed broken, we have confirmed to receptionist and the engineer would come the day after.
We had to sleep in hot condition.
And get the replaced room the day after.
Hope this will not happen again to other guests.
But over all the swimming pool is big, the food I do not like it. For myself I prefer to get the breakfast outside because makassar well known for its culinary.

Its a very old hotel. It is located in Pantai Losari. The view from the hotel are very Good as its next to a beach. The hotel might need to renew their design though. The room is big but the Air condition are not working

The Hotel have the best view in Makassar, Excelent service from the staf, and the location is the best, just by walk you can reach the Handycrft store, the transportation to many island in makassar, near by the Rotterdam, etc
