After a mishap with our original hotel plans, we were directed to the Maldron Hotel by a local concierge. So glad that we did! Lovely view across the City of Cork from our room as the property sits on top of a hill. A quick walk leads you into town and all that the area has to offer (10 mins to the bus station). The staff was charming, inviting and very helpful; the bar downstairs is open late for nightcaps; the breakfast buffet offered a bit of everything for an easy-to-swallow price (10 euro). We LOVED relaxing in the spa below, went for a swim, took in the sauna. Great way to freshen up from the late Irish nights. Simple decor, but amenities were stellar. Recommended.

Had a great stay at the Maldron, staff friendly and efficient and rooms spotless and spacious. One minor complaint- shower curtain was hung too close so ended up sticking to me every time I had a shower (rm 128). Would definitely stay again, thank you Maldron Hotel.

This is a fabulous hotel, close to city, clean and comfortable. However there was absolutely no view from a tricky to open window, It was noisy, workmen banging away outside. The staff are friendly and helpful and the facilities are great. Food delicious too.

1; On the check in provided my name and booking and was sure payed in full as usual( not first time using expedia booking) but on reception was saying that no payment was made- in what we asked âare you sure? âBecause we got the email. So we payed- after went up to the room checked bank account and we been charged twice. After got refund but loose our time on it... 2; had room service order, got it after waiting 45 min( picture below ) to point out I didnât touch chips yet, but doesnât it look like someone was eating them all really ? Is that a 4 star service? Disappointed...

We stayed for one night and was impressed. The location is few mins walk from city center.The room was large, clean and the bed was so comfortable. All staff we met were lovely, especially the guy in reception, breakfast was good. Would recommend.
