2 night break in Dublin as a surprise birthday pressie for my husband - never been to Dublin and wanted a cheap but nice hotel central to everything. This ticked all the boxes.
The rooms are clean, nice, simple and comfortable temperature.
The staff have all been really helpful and happy and breakfast has also been very nice. I honestly canât say anything bad about it. We arrived at about 10am and our room was ready for us which was lovely.
The walk to OâConnell street is 5 mins, tourist bus stop is 3 mins away.
I would recommend the hotel without a doubt!!

Nicely decorated rooms, modern hotel and the restaurant was nice for dinner and breakfast. Also in a good location as itâs not too far to get into town.
Just be aware, thereâs no car park on site, itâs a few minutes walk away (wasnât aware of this at time of booking).

we've been to dublin many times and stayed in many different hotels the maldron is the friendliest and most obliging so far .Rooms are clean .location great. waking distance to the luis .nice and quiet

Booked the hotel last minute and it was excellent value for money and in a great location. Plus breakfast was included too which was a very good selection. A short walk to O'Connell Street, Temple Bar etc. Check in was easy, lobby was nice. Room was pretty small and relatively basic but clean and well equipped. All in all great value for money and a great option in Dublin.

Pros:
Hotel wasnât too bad. Check in was easy, lobby seems nice. Elevators are quick, not too noisy.
Cons:
Rooms smell like an old grannies house and has an old granny feel to it. Tv screen was broke and everything is just abit beat up looking.
Didnât talk to people at reception too long but they seemed nice
