I stayed at the maldrin for three nights recently and I really enjoyed my time there. I was allocated a superb room, the staff were always available to answer any queries, breakfast lovely, great location and extremely relaxing. I would particularly mention Alan Groake who made my stay so enjoyable and who looked after me for the duration. The staff on the reception were also superb as were the staff in the restaurant. I will definitely be back

Room was lovely and spacious, staff was really polite Its close to all shops and has a luas close by, very nice and clean area the bar man Antony was very helpful he helped us with loads of spots to visit in Ireland and the cheap ways around it all I told the staff on reception that morning of check out that he is amazing at his job and was told me to leave a review here it will be seen by manager excellent stay would definitely come back.

Good location (especially for Vicar Street) Parking very handy under hotel and only â¬14. Breakfast was nice, food isnât filled up very quickly when it runs out though and there was no orange juice left even though we went down a half hour before finish. The beds were comfortable but the sheets on my bed didnât reach the bottom so there was an uncovered patch at the end! Shower was good. Food served from 6 on so we left to eat elsewhere.

I ate lunch and dinner here this week. The chowder was rich and packed full of flour without the telltale signs of glugginess.
Dinner - I recommend the steak. The chef cooked it perfectly, seasoned to perfection. The sauce was subtle, well balanced but the smart stroke was the slightly burnt garlic and parsley topping that popped.

Stayed last night the room was a good size . Good combo of double and single . Pretty plain but updated room . It's in Smithfield with a good location and around 12/15 mins walk to city centre O Connell street . It's was only 1 night purely because of the parking surcharge . It's like a maze in the big underground car park which is located behind the hotel . It's 14e a night . If you stay here on holidays for a week that's an extra 98e!!!! . Hotels in Dublin are getting like new york as in a big part of the cost of a hotel is now the parking .would I stay here again NO as I will go to a hotel that has free parking on site available . I'd get 2 nights stay in a hotel in lucan for 98e .
