Had an excellent time at this well located hotel. Xavier, the wonderful host, even throws in free lessons in French! Swimming Pool and Spa all very clean and modern. We had a sea view room overlooking the Town Square, which was a good central location and not at all noisy even on Market Day

We stayed here for 1 night. 84⬠was a ridiculous amount for us to pay. Our room was tiny, we had to climb over the toilet to close the door, had to ask for extra pillows, request a blanket as no duvet or blanket on the bed, no fridge or tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Oh dear it was awful and very dissapointing. We gave feedback to the hotel management, hope they pay attention. The staff we encountered were friendly, helpful and obliging, remarkable really given the state of this hotel. Would not stay here again or recommend to anyone

I was with my family in Canet. We haven't made a reservation before hand and this was the first hotel we saw and we decided to ask if they would have a room available. They didn't have so they offered us an apartment room and because of heat (it was 36 degrees outside) we made a fast and totally wrong decision that we would spend our night there. The room was awful: dirty and old! There were a lot of dust and rubbish in our room. The smell was disgusting. Furniture were old and the bed was hard and in poor condition. The worst thing was that there were no air-conditioning! There were no towels or toilet paper in a room but those we got when we asked.
I have never been in such a bad hotel and I have never been that quick in the morning that I was today because we just wanted to get out as soon as possible! I know that the person who works in a reception can usually do nothing for this kind of things but the person should even show that he feels sorry for customers! At this time he didn't even say "sorry".

Situated on the seafront in Canet de Rousssillon, ideal for a beach holiday.
Simple and spacious rooms.
Staff are friendly and not over the top fussing around you.
Cleanliness has been slated in the past, I'd say with some justification- but it's to be expected in a low-end high-turnover place like this. Perhaps the showers could do with a deep clean but there's nothing to be frightened of - no worse than your own at home before a spring clean.
On a personal level, not my kind of resort but don't let that deter those looking for typical Spanish beach holiday accommodation.

This hotel we stayed is horrible, stayed in August 2011 normally for 2 nights,
We did not even stay for one night. The staff are not friendly expecially the small guy behind the reception. The surroundings are very nice. But if you stay in Canet Plage do not go to this hotel. We say no hygiene, old furniture. you can see that there is no investement in many many years been done. We think that the owner just not care and only needs money. I couldn't go to see the kitchen but i did it anyway. It was outraging.They should really close down this hotel. Lay of all the staff and put the owner in JAIL... This hotel doesn't care about any safety regulation. And all is just a mask of all the serious problems they have.
Do not believe the good comments for this hotel because it is all fake.
Srry for my poor english but really i want nobody to stay such a bad experience.
