The best way to experience the Masai Mara!

This place is incredible. It has it all.
It's placed not far from the airstrip, and just beside the river where crocs and hippos spend their day.
The tents are amazing and luxurious and the beds are very comfortable. Some of them are overlooking the river and they have an extra outside bathtub, just to top it all off.
The food is delicious and made with love. There's something for everyone, both meatlovers and vegetarians will love the chef!
The staff is the best thing about this place. There's nothing they will not do for you and they are always smiling. They make you feel very welcome and they make the effort of knowing your name and who you are. At night they watch out for you and make you feel safe, and they even put a heating pad in your bed before you come back at night.

I've visited a lot of places all over the world, but Mara Explorer Camp is bar far the best I've ever stayed at. Do it!

Watching hippos from my bathtub

This was an amazing experience. We were in the middle of "nowhere" but had a luxurious experience. Tent 4 was the best! On the bend of the river and we once counted at least 50 hippos in the river below. I pinched myself as I took a private bath while watching them. The service was excellent. Heated water bottles at night, bathrobes, escorts to and from dining at night, and wake up calls where tea, coffee, and cookies were delivered to your tent. The meals were delicious and there were more courses than I could eat. Florence was the hostess and was so wonderful. She arranged a sundowner for us as a surprise. She was there to take care of you from picking you up at the airstrip and check-in, to making sure your had everything you needed during your stay and then back to the airstrip. A lovely young woman. Our guide was also excellent and we saw all the wildlife we hoped to see except for a rhino. But we did try. Saw so many lions I was amazed. Also cheetah and leopards. We went on the down season but that was fine. We still saw herds of wildebeest that were at least 500 strong as well as herds of Cape buffalo and antelope.
The camp had only 3 other quests which made for a private and romantic time. We shared a vehicle with another couple who were our age and lovely so that worked out well. Our stay was only for 2 nights but that was enough to see everything we wanted on the drives. We had been to Ambeselli and Tsavo west prior which were also wonderful but this was the best. The Mara is huge and mara explorer camp is great. It was worth the extra money compared to others we considered. Also I do not like to fly and hadn't been on a small plane but our flights to and from Nairobi were fine. Worth it to save the time.

We had an amazing time!!!
Manager Maurice and driver John were great! Food was great and I can’t say any negative things about this camp.
We had a really relaxing time. The service was outstanding!! You won’t regret to book there

The best Safari to date. First, the service was phenomenal. My butler Noor was ever attentive and so professional!

The Chef prepared the most delectable meals and the plating were works of art.

My tent #4 overlooked the Talek river with Hippos galore!

And last but not least...the reason I came...the animals. John, my guide, took me to see all the usual, but the Leopard was a highlight. Then he put me in the right place at the right time to watch a Cheetah take down an Impala! He was incredibly knowledgeable with years of experience, and did I mention he is Maasai?!!!

You can spend a whole lot more, but you won't get a better experience than Mara Explorer. Kenya at it's best!

敲黑板！这不是翻译！哈哈！
还是要给酒店的florence致歉，距离我们离开肯尼亚已经过去将近四个月了，说好的写一下对酒店的点评，一直拖到了现在！
这家camp怎么来形容呢？马赛马拉的天堂！是的我没有去过马拉的其他帐篷酒店，但我敢自信的说，这绝对是算是整个保护区排名前三的！
我们之前在booking上完成预订，当时预订的其实是intrepids camp。过后酒店员工邮件我，说给我们升级了私人帐篷酒店，我心想什么鬼，到底有哪些升级啊！
结果在酒店的这四天，我彻底震撼到了，帐篷下面就是河马成群，帐篷的豪华和私密程度超乎想象，耳边永远是动听的鸟类协奏曲，如果这不是身处马拉的最佳体验，还有什么是呢？
再说说餐饮，每天三餐永远不重样，从前餐到甜点，水平完全堪比伦敦纽约的知名餐厅，每天吃饭前，我都哼着小曲，期待美食，好丢脸…
再来是safari，我们的司机selos，绝对是有史以来最耐心的司机，面对两个小asian每天的十万个为什么，总是不厌其烦的向我们解释发生在眼前的草原万象，而selos总是能比其他人更快到达有精彩动物景象的地方，比如成群的狮子，刚抓到猎物的豹子，还有角马过河，不胜枚举！每天的safari，累并满足，大自然的震撼永远留在记忆的最深处！
最后，是关于这家酒店的人。装修环境是硬件，而服务和人是软件。关于服务和我永远难忘的可爱的人，很难在一篇点评中就讲清楚，只能说，在去过所有国家所有酒店当中，这家酒店的服务和员工是最棒的，没有之一！
如果你想去肯尼亚度过一个探索大自然的假期，这家帐篷酒店，会让你终生难忘！墙裂推荐！
写完感觉好浮夸！但时隔四个月，每当回忆起来，都是激动万分，难以忘记在这家酒店的美好！
