Th room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The view was fabulous. The visit to the school (which was not an option) was, in my opinion, much more interesting than the visit to the village. The village visit seemed to be more 'set up'. We had some pencils and notepads to give the school and so were taken there, but I personally think it should be shown as an option. Pens, pencils and such like are gratefully received
The food at the lodge was wonderful and the chefs were grateful to get praise for their efforts.

My wife and stayed here for one night. We enjoyed every minute of it, from our first arrival at the lobby until our departure the next morning.
Rooms are cosy, a bit small compared to the accommodation in tented camps, but we found it to be quite adequate and comfortable. The view out to the plains and the sound of birds in the morning are amazing.
Food was very good. I was amazed to see 8-9 different types of bread at the breakfast buffet, after all we were in the middle of nowhere.
Staff were very friendly in general. One story I would like to share is: We decided to skip dinner, as we had had a late lunch, and enjoy our cocktails by the fire outside. We were so pleasantly surprised to have one of the staff walk up to us to ask if we were not going to have dinner as they were closing the buffet. She said she called our room when she found out that we had not showed up for dinner, then came searching for us in the garden. Now this is real hospitality!
I would highly recommend this lodge.

awesome place to be both with family or friends ,the food was superb ,room are cool connected with hot showers with washroom ,the services were good you could get whatever you requested on time ,the are also affordable

Pros:
Friendly staff and catering service
Nice view in the morning
Nice buffet
Guaranteed Safety and security and comfort
Maasai dance @ night for entertainment
Cons:
Poor WiFi
No heat in showers after 10am and only come back on after 6pm
They turn off power and WiFi everyday from 2:30 to 5pm and from 1:30am-5:30am

We were booked here 3 nights on the recommendation of our Safari operator Shoor Safaris. Initially I was told involve an additional drive of about an hour from the main gate. Hesitantly we agreed because hey, we would already have driven about 5 hours.
Once we got here though all my doubts about my choice seemed irrelevant. What a beautiful location, perched up on a hill overlooking the Masai Mara !
Not only the view but even the service and meals were superb.
And though the rooms could be a little larger, this is a lodge after all so this is a minor drawback to what is in my opinon a very fine lodge indeed.
