The bed was very comfortable. We were given an upgrade upon check-in after we told them that it was our wedding night. We placed us on the 15th floor that had a nice view overlooking the city. Quick check-in and check-out procedures. Lots of choices for the buffet breakfast.
The hotel needs a little bit of upgrading/refurbishment though considering that it is a 5-star hotel. The bathroom had signs of wear and tear which should have already been renovated or replaced.

We had a great stay at this hotel, I canât fault it , the security and the staff were all very friendly and couldnât do enough for us , the room was spacious and very clean, when I go back to davou I will definitely be returning to the Marco Polo

Rooms smell musty, wall paper bubbling on walls, carpet like dirty and transport to airport not there at 4 am when it was booked had to squish in a cab . The staff were great however it def needs some renovation

If you are looking for a hotel with lavish rooms and a view that overlooks the entire city then Marco Polo is the place to be.
I am from Davao City and Marco is simply breathtaking especially when you want to swim and bask under the sun at the top most floor. They also got this outdoor bar near the swimming pool where you can chill and enjoy the weather.
Its definitely one of my fave hotel to stay at in Davao.

Marco Polo Hotel has been our go to place when traveling to the Philippines. We've stayed in one in Manila, Cebu, and Davao. Stayed in the Davao several years ago when it was quite new. This stay was a real disappointment. Room was pretty run down. Cracked and peeling wall paper. Tub looked like someone took a hammer to it. Mini bar was a joke. Two waters and two sodas. They don't deserve the Four star rating. Sorry but as frequent travelers to the Philippines and Davao, we're going to find a new go to hotel.
