From the get go the hotel were amazing after being delayed numerous times en route to this hotel we rang to say that instead of arriving at 6pm on the Friday that actually it would now be 6am on the Saturday morning just to Air India being shocking. This did not phase them we were assured somebody would be waiting. We arrived just after 6am and a lovely young gentleman was waiting in reception for us. He took us to our room explained a few things and said we could check in later that day so we could get some sleep. Breakfast was great with a mix of Indian and English dishes, I stuck to omelettes everyday which were very good. John and Doc who work in the restaurant are superb always so polite and making conversation. The food at night was delicious too. The rooms were cleaned every day and were always spotless. The tele was very good with options of lots of different languages. Mini bar was fab and so cheap always stocked up with water for you. Pool area was also excellent with the lads from the restaurant serving drinks and comfy loungers. We were shown a short cut to the beach was very handy and we spent almost every day down there. The hotel has there own taxi driver too which is very useful as you knew you wasnât being ripped off. The hotel is close to lots of restaurants and we didnât have a bad experience with any of them. All staff at the hotel were great and definitely want to come back. Will miss it here.

We have just returned from a 2 wks holiday staying at Marina Bay resort, we stayed over the Christmas and New Year period. I really cannot understand any of the negative comments about this hotel and I am quite (well really) choosy in my stay in hotels. My husband (Jack) as John and Doc (waiting staff) affectionately call him made us feel so welcome and took good fun chatting and Jack winding them up, as he tends to do.
Phil was a charming host and nothing was too much trouble, he even showed us a quick route to the main road. What a lovely man, very busy making everyone happy but taking time to chat too. The hotel is situated off the main road which is ideal for a more peaceful location but easy to get to.
The only decision which I didn't make was booking a balcony room but that was a personal choice and when we return next year I will be taking up on that.
The pool is super clean and plenty of sun beds surrounding it.
The rooms are clean and I noticed the bedding was changed numerous times during our stay. The room cleaning staff are just lovely, polite and make a good job of cleaning around. The fridge was of good size, 2 huge ceiling fans, A/C, super powerful shower with an abundance of hot water, Smart TV wall mounted, digital safe, towels changed daily, soap provided, stacked fridge/snacks in the room.
The breakfast was varied, we took some items with us as I like Weetabix, marmalade etc on a morning but the choice was good and there are cornflakes, fresh fruit, eggs cooked anyway you want them, delicious milky coffee, toast, jam and hot dishes vary each day.
We organised our airport transfers through Phil and cannot wait to return back next year. Thank you to Phil and all of his staff team for making our stay a most enjoyable one.

Staff beheaves indecently towards women.. I personally wouldnt recommend this resort. Food is ok, not great.. Location is good.. Low budget.. Dont visit goa during the month of december coz goans are good looters at that time...

The location of this resort is good. We got Coral Suite and it was nice.The rooms are large. The view from the balcony was awesome. The food was tasty and delicious. The hotel is well maintained by the staff. The staff are very friendly. Swimming pool is big. They also provide bike on rent.

Nice property very clean and elegant room...the pool is icing on the cake..the restaurant serve very good food specially seafood at very reasonable prices..Pradeep at Restautant took very gud care of us...we ll back in may to Goa and will surely stay at marina bay..
