Arrived at Meadowlea at the end of our 3rd day LEJOG ride from St Cleer.
Tandem stored safely at the back of the house. Warm welcome with tea and biscuits.Bedroom and ensuite were perfect. Ideally located with just a short walk into town. Perfect for cyclists.

This is a fantastic place to stay - friendly and welcoming hosts; clean, cosy and comfortable bedrooms with everything one could ask for (including hooks on the back of the door - so easy, but so few places do it!); excellent WiFi; and a great breakfast. This was my second stay here when on business nearby and I hope very much to return.

We booked this guest house purely by chance, it was excellent. Mark & Lesley the owners were very friendly and have thought of everything, would definitely recommend this to anyone. The rooms were very clean. The bathroom was sparkling very comfortable beds.

I booked at short notice and had a lovely stay.
I was cycling through on LEJOG to scotland and the guys let me wash my bike out the back garden with their hose which was really a godsend.
Very helpful with letting me dry my cycling gear on the washing line and then the dry cupboard so I was able to wear the next morning.
Short walk to the town/pub. Nice early breakfast as well, cant go wrong.

We stayed in this lovely guesthouse on our way to Cornwall. The owners are very welcoming but not too intrusive. They have thought of everything. Meadowlea is clean, comfortable and peaceful. Bottled water in the room, tea & coffee facilities (you can take fresh milk in a jug from the dining room). There is a lovely guest sitting room with plenty of games on offer. The breakfast is fantastic, plenty of choice for every taste! It certainly set us up for our onward journey.
