Love this place staff are fab and nearly right on the beach, real pity it does not have an indoor pool. Food is good and staff speak good English
Rooms have been upgraded to a great standard
Parking is 20 Euro a night though which is outrageous but I believe it belongs to the council

Situated very close to the marina, the views we had from our room with balcony were outstanding. The comfortable room was exceptionally clean & the food was first class. The attentive & courteous staff made the whole experience so rewarding & stress free.Without doubt, the Melia group,have developed a winning formula which is hard to beat.We would definitely recommend this hotel whether on business or having a break.

Stayed here for the NLP Leadership Summit - a group of 80 people for three days. The hotel gave us complimentary use of a conference room and a preferential room rate. My room was comfortable and clean with a lovely view across the marina. On the other side of the corridor the rooms had a sea view.
The hotel is within easy walking distance of lots of cafes and restaurants but the food in the hotel is also good.

There is work going on at the hotel at present so some of the facilities are not working, please check these are not applicable to you.
Also the level has a lovely view, but as a true "club" style service, I personally don't think it delivers !
We were also a large party and having returned from a restaurant admittedly late they were not keen to open the bar for a night cap, which personally i feel is unacceptable.

This was our second stay at Melia Alicante - We arranged to meet up with a group of friends for a 3 night break - The situation of the hotel is perfect with te Marina on one side of the hotel and the beach on the other - access into the vibrant city of Alicante is just a 3 minute walk - The hotel is on the face of it a very corporate hotel with all the facilities you would expect - the rooms are spacious, clean and well equipped- room service was prompt and efficient - Breakfast was well served and plentiful - although we did not dine in the hotel the menus looked appealing and the restaurant had great sea views - there is hotel car parking available but a little pricy- next time we are in Alicante we would have no hesitation in returning.
