We stayed in this hotel for one night in January. We received a warm welcome upon arrival, and the room we were allocated was absolutely fine.
The situation of the hotel, so close to the medieval cite is a bit selling point. The free parking is also a help.
The building and rooms are pleasantly decorated and it was a comfortable stay.

The 2/5 rating does not adequately reflect accommodation. This would rate 4/5. Tea and coffee making facilities were lean. 2 milk capsules, no EBT and no instant coffee. 2 paper cups, otherwise, quiet, comfortable and clean. However the food would unfortunately barely rate 1/5. If the 3 pastaâs of the day ordered (Mac & cheese) via room service, only 1 was eaten ( by a hungry teenage boy !). The cod on brown rice was OK. The breakfast buffet was a disaster. A large tour group had stretched the hotelâs resources to the point that there simply wasnât enough food. (Demand exceeded ability to supply). The 2 cold sausages I salvaged were inedible. The Nespresso machine was out of milk. The sole person serving was clearly and openly frustrated. Not a great start to our morning !

The hotel is ideally located close to city center. The staff is very welcoming and we were upgraded in privilege room! The dinner at the restaurant was very good. One of the two waitress was very kind, the other one missed commercial fiber.
Unfortunately, my wife forgot a white blouse and red woolen sweater on the bed. We called the hotel the next day but nothing had been indicated by the cleaning lady. Without this incident, we would have rated the hotel 4/5.

This hotel is less than a 5 min walk to the old walled city, has free parking and in a Premium Room has a check out time of 12 noon.
Rooms are a good size, are very clean and have comfortable beds. Shower pressure is good and the breakfast had a good selection and Gluten Free was catered for.

We booked to stay in this hotel with two our of friends for a birthday celebration. We had e-mailed ahead to ask for a nice room for our friend celebrating her birthday. Upon arrival after 3pm we were told our rooms were not ready, this was after check in time so it's not like to were early. We had booked at wine tasting event at 5pm and needed to shower after our flight and get ready. We spoke to the receptionist and confirmed this and her first response was we could use the public toilet to freshen up. I confirmed this wasn't acceptable as it was over an hour after the check-in time. We were finally given two rooms they believe to be ready so we all went to our rooms. Our room hadn't been cleaned and our friends room hadn't either there were food and ants all over their room (not a very nice birthday surprise) we went back down to reception where we were not even apologised to. We were finally given two other rooms, which were fine and had been cleaned. We had to rush to get ready in time for our pick up. I had e-mailed the hotel afterwards to confirm we were disappointed and the e-mail response was they had a tour which were refusing to leave on time and little they could do. I can understand these things happen, but a simple apology would have been nice.
