The Metropol is a 70's style hotel which is welcoming, comfortable and central if not a little dated in terms of the bedrooms... The Jazz Bar & Restaurant is good for lunches, dinner and breakfast... A mix of traditional foods, light bites and burgers and a healthy wide selection of breakfast items... The faint sounds of a clattering tram and the occasional siren reminds you of the fact that your smack bang in the middle of a busy city capital...

It's a very nice hotel. The staff people were so nice. The ratio quality/price was amazing. The hotel is very well situated, close to bus and new city centre. The room was big enough, nice beds and full equipped bathroom. The breakfast was a buffet with everything you need to fill the tank. The outdoors of the building were under construction but we didn't hear any noise or felt any dust inside the rooms.

Location 10/10,staff 10/10, mattress very hard ,single beds narrow, room small. Permier inn are larger, bath rooms look like recently refurbished. Trams a problem. For a short stay good value, recommended.

The only problem I had with this hotel was as I think someone else remarked upon was the tram noise if you are facing the centre of the city, having said that you will become accustomed to it.
The staff are very friendly and helpful and the breakfast is so varied that anyone who would be fussy will not go hungry.
The rooms are clean and tidy ..
Itâs central location means nowhere is far and the Old Town is within 30 minutes on foot.

We spent two nights at the Metropol. It was a short walk from the main train station to the hotel and a 10-15 minute walk to the old town. The staff was very helpful and the hotel was immaculate. The breakfast which was included was expansive and very good.
This hotel is a modern facility in the center of the ciry but was perfect for our 48 hour stay in Warsaw.
