This is my third stay at these apartments, the first time I was solo, the second time with my hubby & this time I brought my sister along for a girly holiday. The apartments are truly lovely very spacious & extremely clean with three balconies. We stayed in room 3b the main balcony overlooks the street and whilst the view is not too great it is is good for people watching and is sunny in the morning & cooler for the evening. The apartments are well placed for walking to town 5 mins, the beach 2 mins or the port about 7 mins. There is everything you need in the apartment a true home from home. The bedrooms consisted of a double with an en suite bathroom and a twin room with a separate bathroom all very crisp & clean We caught the local bus from the bus stop in town to Marbella for a shopping trip which also calls at Porto banus and ends at Malaga only €3 p/p. The street market on Sunday from 8-4 at the port is definitely worth a visit for clothing linens & ceramics. We had a 2 hr boat trip at the port to see dolphins €30 p/p what fun we felt like pop stars on the catamaran it was huge & yes we saw dolphins too what a sight. All in all a truly magical place to stay for a real overall Spanish experience. If you want to enjoy good food good wine & have a truly relaxing holiday with gorgeous beaches then this will suit you.

Nice place, but bring your ear plugs

On the whole, this is a decent place to stay with clean, spacious rooms and a well-equipped kitchen, all at a good price. Towels included, no cleaning or other hidden charges, excellent wifi signal, and just a few minutes walk from the beach and town centre. Kitchen has a dishwasher, microwave, electric rings, oven and washing machine.

There are a few negative issues, however. The main thing is the noise: the bars downstairs don't close till after midnight, there is traffic noise late at night (including a bin lorry emptying the recycling bins, complete with 'vehicle reversing' beeps), and you may have noisy neighbours. So ear plugs are essential. A flat on a higher floor would help, but we were on the second floor.

Other quibbles: The beds are hard. The TV had a ridiculous system of two remote controls which had to have their buttons pressed in the right order. There is no washing up liquid or cleaning fluids. Reception desk is not staffed - you have to call a phone number on arrival.

We can't praise these apts enough.We arrived and was greeted by Maria who was very friendly and helpful.We stayed in room 5c which was on the top floor.The apt was the biggest we have stayed in,having 2 bedrooms,one with an en suite.Beds were very comfy and had mattress toppers on for comfort.Spotlessly clean with crisp white bedding..Everything in the kitchen that you needed were there,including a washing machine,microwave etc.shower and bath were powerful with boiling hot water constantly...we had a lovely view of the street and had 3 balconys.we got the sun in the early afternoon till sunset which was great for sitting having a drink in the sun.i would really recommend these apts as they were value for money and they were in a perfect position for the beach,harbour and the prom.we would definatly stay here again if we teturn.

Great apartment close to beach and old town

Our 6th floor, 3 bedroom, apartment was clean and big with a fully equipped kitchen and laundry room including a iron and ironing board. The apartment has no air-conditioning, only ceiling fans, but as we stayed in February this was not an issue and there was lots of heat. The master bedroom balcony faced the mountains whilst the living room balcony which faced the side street to the west, was very sunny and you could see the rock of Gibraltar in the distance over the roof tops. The living room has two comfortable sofas, good TV and a large dining table. The rooms were spacious and our apartment, 5C, which is on the back of the building, had two full bathrooms (one off the master bedroom). The master bedroom had a very comfortable proper double bed, the other two rooms had two twin beds each.
The apartments overlook an attractive Plaza which has cafes and restaurants are in a good location for walking to the old town (7 mins), to the beach (3 mins) and to the marina (15 minutes).
A large Carrefour supermarket and other large and small shops are on the doorstep. Free parking in the square below if you can find a spot. Paid underground parking is close by. Rated only 1 star as there no reception/bar/pool etc. but don't let this put you off as this is a great place for a long term stay.
Would recommend this to family, friends and anyone who wants a true Spanish experience in this not so touristy town which has a very long sandy beach, an extensive 3 km promenade, a lack of high rise hotel and apartment buildings and beautiful, flower filled old town

Clean and big apartment

The apartment was clean and very big. The kitchen is fully equiped. Bed were a little bit hard. The style of the apartment is a little bit old fashioned. The apartment has no airco only vans on the ceiling. But in october this was not a problem.
