The rooms in center are big as a suite and are very comfortable, but some bathrooms are leaking/flooding, we had almost taken 25 rooms as we were 49 people, all enjoyed the stay, except some small and big complaints the stay was good.

The room was the size of a football pitch. The bed was two kingsized beds pushed together. The gym was well equipped for a hotel and the pool and sauna were a pleasure and the breakfasts went on and on. Whats not to like?! Sure the room smelled of cigarette smoke but everything about Tashkent is like the 1980s so it all makes sense.

I stayed here recently whilst working in Tashkent. My room was very large with a super king-sized bed, desk and seating areas. There are not many sockets for such a large room but there were sufficient to make it adequate. UK appliances will need an EU adaptor (2pin types C or F as for Spain etc.) The in-room climate control system is a little difficult to work out. For me this was a matter of trial and error rather than judgement! There was a very large TV in the room and it is possible to watch English speaking news channels (I watched channel 6). The bathroom was modern and had a bath. It was equipped with a hairdryer but the speed of this was very slow so if you have hair that needs proper styling, I suggest that you take your own. I was on the seventh (top) floor which may be because I had requested a non smoking room. Free Wi-fi is provided with different logins for the room and lobby. For the most part this works ok but the internet speed is very slow throughout Tashkent. There are facilities to change money in the hotel. The kiosk is open at most times of the day. You will need your passport and immigration form (which you will have completed and had stamped upon arrival in Uzbekistan). It is best to change USD into the local currency (SOM). If your immigration firm is stamped, you can change this back prior to departure but not outside of Uzbekistan. If you are changing USD, be aware that they will not take notes that have even the slightest blemish or nick in the paper. The restaurant is very large and only a few people were ever in there. Maybe this was because I visited in November? The food was more than adequate though not haute cuisine and was reasonably priced. Breakfast was included in my tariff and was buffet style and absolutely fine for my needs. The gym area is very well equipped with cardio machines, free weights and weight machines. There is an indoor pool. I did not use this but it looked fine, I had a massage whilst staying. It was easily booked, was good and extremely reasonably priced as compared with the U.K. (£17). I used the laundry facility whilst staying and received a 50% discount so for a few items I paid about £15. Taxis can be called from the hotel. The cost is around £1 to £1.50 for a 15 minute journey. However, taxi drivers find it difficult to find places even if given an address and do not have GPS. There seems to be a lot of phoning presumably to their main office. Taxis do not necessarily have seatbelts that you can put on and given some of the driving, this can be disconcerting to say the least! The staff at the Miran are very helpful and do their best to speak English. Overall, I found my stay very enjoyable and will be returning in April.

Well appointed hotel foyer and very large rooms. One Bathroom was a wet room with shower flooding floor. Other bathroom provided well appointed fittings. Staff very eager however needed to listen to questions.

I stayed in Miran Hotel at Tashkent, huge rooms nice location and very clean and calm place!
Staff is very friendly and English speaking!
Good breakfast nice option in the menu. Good place to stay in Tashkent
