The overal performance was good but the road next outside the hotel is extremely noisy. The aurrounding area has many food stalls which are very attractive. The hotel staff are very helpful and are always willing to help out.

I was there for one night in November 2017 and experienced an average stay for premium rent. Room was just average like a hotel of cost below 1200 bucks hardly. The manager on reception was highly unprofessional. If the hotel owner is reading my review then I would like to suggest you to scrutinize your people on reception.
My friend was in another room of this hotel where the water heater was not functioning. When we reported that to hotel staff they raised hands by saying that they don't have another room and cannot fix the heater. When we pushed then they offered us another room of so called super delux room (our was delux) with extra 2000 rupees. They were not even bothered to listen us in anyway. We finally paid them 2000 rupees just to get hot water in bathroom. God bless Mohan Hotel.

Stayed here for 2 days, last week. The rooms that we booked were supreme delux, but the rooms were far too small and dirty. for 3-4 hours we had to call the reception repeatedly, to get the rooms cleaned, fix the TV, fix the plug points, keep water in the room, clean the bathroom.. and the list goes on. every time they spoke to us as if they are doing a favour to us and sometimes even denied to do the work. One night, we got parcelled food from a restaurant, and the person sitting on the reception, denied to give us plates, asked where did you get the food from, and said it is not allowed as per rules. on telling him to show the rules, he misbehaved, and said h will show it in the morning. We told him, we want to talk to the manager, which he didn't let us do. he even denied to tell his name, as we told him that i will put that in the review. After we told all that, he was ready to give the plates in the room. overall very very disappointed.

Stayed here for a night after being refused from about 15 hotels in the area due to being tourists.
It's not a place for backpackers. The price is far too high. This cost us the equivalent to 4 nights elsewhere in cheaper accommodation. With a good discount.
The staff were friendly, the porters a bit hungry for tips (loitering for a few minutes after showing us the room).
The restaurant was really quite good. The food was great and the service, even though the staff spoke very little English, was fantastic.
All in all, I wouldn't bother with Lucknow. It's not set up for tourists and can be pretty unfriendly on the street. That said, if I found myself stranded here I'd head back to this hotel without question. Because it was the only place that would take us.

Hotel is near the railway and the staff are really friendly. They assisted us with our travels in all 3 days and its best to use their guides who are very informative and helpful with explanation. Thanks
