My stay here was almost perfect. I felt safe, welcome, relaxed. My only issue and it is a small one, but I found the single bed uncomfortable and the pillows too thin. Both of these things are relative to individuals. The pillows were quite thin so I always slept with 2 and the mattress I thought also was a bit thin. But that's it. I had off street car parking, was given space and the breakfast was 10/10.
Pleasant stay.

A lovely little bed and breakfast, ran by a very pleasant helpful owner named Kim. Tom was nice and clean, fair size and comfortable. Breakfast was really nice and nothing was to much for kim, always checking that we were ok and informed us of the local area. A lovely two night stay.
Easy Access from here

This is a lovely B & B and central to touring around this part of Cornwall. It is on the main road so you are quickly on your way. The rooms are comfortable, but there is some traffic noise at night. Breakfast is freshly cooked (they even do a full English vegetarian) and is served to you in the bay windows at the front of the house which also serves as a guest lounge. We found Netflix very useful after a long day playing golf.
Thanks Mountview!

My boyfriend and I were visiting the Eden Project nearby and booked a Thursday to Sunday stay.
We were so impressed! Due to the travel times we weren't going to arrive until late at night (10pm) and this wasn't an issue for the lovely and friendly owner as she still allowed us to check in and welcomed us in and showed us around.
There were lots of tea and coffee in the room (us being stereotypically British we judge a place on this), bottled water and some lovely cakes too. The room is so clean! And has a towel heater rail which we worshipped after a day in the rain during our stay. There's a fan too for humid nights and a television which the owner provides a selection of DVDs and books to keep you occupied. There's lots of info in the room on activities, days out and places to eat nearby and vouchers to use for days out that can be used locally to get discounts and that we were also grateful for given that Cornwall can be an expensive place to visit.
The owner gave us lots of recommendations on places to see and eat and had a great knowledge of nearby places.
We decided rather than be cheeky and keep asking for more milk for our tea and coffee we would buy some, not considering how hot the room would get during the day so we kept it buy the window in the hope that it would keep it cool. On our return, the owner had marvouslously put an ice pack on our milk to keep it cool for us!
I cannot thank Mountview enough for such a lovely stay and making our weekend even more enjoyable. I would definitely recommend it and stay again.
Great price for a lovely stay!
The only issue that cannot be helped is the very steep drive leading up to the B and B which sometimes can be difficult to park on (if you're not great with reversing like me, however confident drivers shouldn't have an issue).
excellent one night stopover

This was a onenight stopover. Lovely welcome from Kim. We had the double front room.a little road noise but no bother for us. Spotlessly clean quite roomy, and had two chairs to relax. The breakfast was fresh cooked and ample. ! Our sat nav took us to another address, seems like it happens! It is near McDonald's. The parking is a bit tricky but hence the name Mountain View!
I would definitely stay again if inthat area.
Ps..thedog is lovely! !!
