This is a average three star hotel with excellent location if you are travelling by air. Approximately 5 mins drive from airport.
A couple of very good restaurants ice cream parlour and a pub with 750 meter radius.
Relatively smaller sized rooms but well maintained. Wifi never worked during my stay so can't comment on that. Ac worked fine and so did the cable connection. Water pressure was low but it had both hot and cold water even during the evening.
Staff was attentive and responded promptly.
Over all a decent stay.
Good Hotel close to the Pune Airport with complimentary airport transfers close to the Symbiosis Institue.

New Leaf Hotel is close to the Pune airport and good for a short stay. The hotel provides complimentary airport transfers, which is a boon for people who are new to the city specially ladies and one does not have to waste time looking for the hotel. The hotel is situated in a residential area and is very quiet. There are no ATM machines in the vicinity though and one has to walk a km or so to find one. The closest ATM machine is opposite the Symbiosis Institute.
The hotel staff is quite helpful and courteous. The front desk executive Irfan, does a good job. The rooms are very small and the bathroom is quite compact, compared to the high tariff but it provides all the basic amenities required for a good comfortable stay. One can get good hot water in the bathroom, which is a plus point in Pune as most of the hotels in Pune have a problem in providing hot water. The room has a good comfortable bed and a full length mirror.
The hotel also provides an Ironing Board and an Iron on request. Breakfast is served on the spacious, roof top terrace with a good view of the city and has a good spread. The food served at the breakfast was quite delicious and good. The hotel provides parking in the open, next to the hotel building.
A few negatives were also there. The rooms had tiles coming out at the bottom of the wall, slightly above the flooring and had been camouflaged very untidily. The hotel can get that fixed in a proper manner. The toiletries' were not replaced after the last guest had left and the bathroom was not very clean. The hotel did replace the toiletries and they were very basic. There were no hand towels provided in the bathroom. The window blinds were stuck and could not be pulled up and one could not get day light. The hotel does not allow visitors without keeping a photocopy of the Visitors ID, unlike other hotels where visitors are allowed without giving a copy of their ID. The hotel does not provide a complimentary newspaper for the hotel guests and only a copy of it is kept, in the reception area.
Overall, a good stay for a short visit, with a good breakfast spread. It is close to the famous Symbiosis Institute as well.
Terrible

There was nothing during our stay for which I can give better rating for this hotel. On our way back from shirdi to Bangalore, considering proximity to airport and reviews on various portal, I had booked reservation in New Leaf. Rooms are untidy and unclean, bathrooms are just too small, food is below average
Short freshen up

We had booked this hotel in the last minute to refreshen up after a late night flight to Pune before proceeding to Mahabaleshwar. Location wise its just 2 km from the airport and hence a good location. The room seemed to be small & compact rather than big but had all the necessary amenities. Of course we had to request fro towels and soaps as they were found missing even though we had requested for early morning checkup between 3 - 6 am. Other than that stay was pretty pleasant. Breakfast served on the rooftop was really good with nice views of the city around.

Spent a night here while on a road trip from Goa to Bombay. Also had some work in the vicinity so chose this place.
A little difficult to find as the actual road access has been closed but just ask the locals and they will direct you.
The hotel is situated right in the middle of a residential area so fairly quiet. It is quite an old property and could do with a coat of paint on the interior walls.
Parking is in an open lot outside the hotel with a watchman but as I was not too happy about it, they were kind enough to allow me to bring my car in after dark.
All the staff were courteous and helpful - right from the desk guys (Dinesh, Vishnu etc.) when I made the booking to the room service. The rooms themselves are rather small but for the price we paid, one cannot complain. However, the room had not been stocked with tea/coffee etc. after the last guests had left. It was soon rectified. The room was also smelling a bit "stale" but the room service guys soon sorted that out. Toiletries provided were very basic and the toilet could have been cleaner. The A/C worked well and hot water was plentiful. The bed was comfortable. We had a small meal in the room and I have to say the food was very good. A bit pricey but worth it. The TV had most of the channels but no HD channels. As we had our own WiFi, I did not use the complimentary WiFi so cannot comment on the same. There was a mini bar in the room and for once I noticed that the prices were very reasonable.
All in all, an OK stay. No complaints at the price we paid for it. For an overnight stay on a budget, it was fine.
