Beautiful location in an ancient palace located in the middle of the old town.
Very quiet, nice rooms and a good service.
I was there for a buisiness trip but can recommend it also for a private jouney.

the hotel is very nice hotel, the room is quiet spacious and there's a lot of luxury. The bed was big enough and comfortable. At breakfast, there's a lot of choise.

Arrived in carpark, took lift down to reception and checked in. No help offered with luggage and pointed vaguely in direction of lifts. Wedding party in full swing with deafening music meant that I was unable to enjoy any of the hotel's facilities. Woken by drunken guests singing and chanting at 4 a.m..Corporate policy to change sheets every 3 days for 'environmental' reasons, i.e. it saves them money. Asked for ours to be changed (if I'm paying for a 5 star hotel I expect 5 star treatment) which was done by the surliest person I have ever encountered in a hotel. Breakfast OK. Room clean and spacious but overall I have to wonder how this hotel could possibly have been awarded 5 stars, compared to other establishments of similar status it falls very short.

I was given one of my favorite rooms and the staff was very helpful and kind. It made the "away from home" very tolerable. I enjoyed the coffee with steamed milk prepared for me every morning often with a repeat cup. There was plenty of bottled water in the room and a robe and sleepers for my use. I don't want another hotel in Aviles.

Itâs really hard to beat the location of this hotel. Situated at the top of the main square, to the front it commands a wonderful view of the historic core of the city; to the rear, it overlooks the beautiful city park. Parking is a doddle in the Plaza de Espana car park that sits under the main square. The staff are really kind and helpful â going well beyond the call of duty to make our stay enjoyable. And our room was spacious and bright. Next time I am in Aviles, I will stay here again.
