The ibis is cheaper and much nicer personally.
The restaurant was definitely the most disappointing.
Paid £10 for a bowl of plain pasta for a child. Absolutely ridiculous, was tasteless and took and hour to arrive!
Also we asked for some more bread and this was just ignored. Definitely would not recommend

Business-like hotel, no luxury but no big issue to complaining. The hotel and room are clean but need soon some kind of updating. TV on room is very small and room AC system keeps noise. I need turn it off during night. Hotel is located under Lisbon airport landing path. If both of windows are not closed, plane sounds come very loud to inside. On my room someone has left outside window open and I didnât notice that before I go to sleep. I wake up middle of night to big noise and notice not so nice thing. If you want close outside windows you need special tools that you can first open inside windows. There is sticker that call reception if want open window. I donât want call during night on pyjamas to anywhere... So, I try sleep rest of night pillow top of my head.

A good hotel, conveniently situated close to the metro underground. Great breakfast and room was clean and spacious. Novotel are of consistent quality and the Lisboa was as good as others I've stayed at.

The hotel advertises as having air conditioning , however during our 4 night stay the only option was for hot air to be blown through the already hot room...we needed to have the window unlocked in order to have some air circulating in the hot stuffy room... reception staff stated the manager had turned the air conditioning off, however it was working in the bar and restaurant areas. We asked for a fan and were told they did not have any...no solution was offered...it made for an extremely unpleasant sleeping experience..not what I would expect from a Novotel!,

the public bus from the airport is outside the entrance of the hotel so this is very handy. but the hotel is too far from the old town to walk though you can access the metro from the hotel easily, with walking though a fairly rough area.
the room was clean and spacious but not very well maintained and in need of renovations: taps broken in bathroom, tv remote not working, safe not working.
breakfast was very good and varied. staff helpful.
