Stayed here for a night in December, and to visit Winter wonderland and the west end.
Hotel just a short walk from Paddington Station, and surrounding areas are very nice.
We arrived at the hotel, and was checked in by a very friendly receptionist. She explained where and how to use the facilities.
Room was clean, and well presented. Was a little too hot, but after opening the window for a short time, it soon cooled down.
We could not hear any noise from other guests in the hotel.
When we went down for breakfast in the morning, there was a lovely selection on offer from continental to cooked.
If the price was right, I would definitely stay here again.

Heating was on constantly - the fab/ coolant in the room didnât really work - maintenance out twice - then promised a standing fan but it never materialised in a 4 night stay - we wouldâve moved hotels but London was rammed with new year - donât go unless you like excessive heat!

Incredibly poor service, incompetent staff, dirty rooms but good location. I would not recommend anyone to live at this hotel. However, there was one service-minded man in the hotel bar/restaurant and one woman in the reception who desperately tried to make up for the others' shortcomings. Stating that this hotel has 4 Stars is an absolute joke! I would have expected better service from a 1,5 Star hostel.
As we arrived Friday at 12 pm we were informed that our room would be available at 2 pm. We then made sure to leave our luggage and book breakfast for the coming morning. As we came back at 2.30 pm our room was not yet finished. We waited in the reception, until the manager finally arrived as the lady were not able to sort it out on her own.
We were then downgraded to a room without the accommodations that we had been previously promised, for example, a bathtub. By then, the clock had already passed 3 pm. We went down to ask for yet another room and were once again moved without as much as an apology. We got into the room and quickly realized that it had not been prepared for 3 people.
The sofa-bed had not been made, there were no pillows so we were unable to do so ourselves, only enough towels, cups, glasses, shampoo, conditioner, soap, tea etc. for two people.
We called the reception to ask them to sort this out, a man showed up, pulled out the bed and tossed two pillows before exiting. We then had to call a second time to get towels, cups, glasses, etc. We received two towels and nothing more.
I then realized that I hadn't been given a duvet for the sofa-bed. As we leave for dinner I went down to speak to the reception about this, simply explained that the room had not been properly prepared and that I had a blanket and a thin bed-sheet. And asked for a real duvet. When we came back, I had received a second blanket.
I immediately went down with the extra blanket to speak to the same woman whom I had previously asked to give us a duvet. She kindly explained that the duvets were out and that's why I had received the blanket. I explained to her that we had had a lot of issues with them in the few hours that we had stayed with them and that since the room wasn't prepared for three, they needed to get me a duvet.
She then stated "Okay so for the time being you have a blanket and a duvet." And I once again explained to her that "No, no I do not have a duvet, that is why I am down here asking for a duvet. I am not asking for an extra one, I am asking for the actual one that I am yet to receive."
Staff: "Oh I see, you don't have a duvet?" - No! "Then I will take one from a different room. I will make sure that you get a duvet."
Finally I received my duvet. When we asked to be compensated for the continuous trouble, we received a drink ticket, good for the friday only. Which I personally do not consider to be enough.
Going down for breakfast the day after, the lady who did our check-in had not registered it to the correct room number so once again we had issues, but this time we were lucky enough to finally meet a service-minded woman in the reception. She quickly fixed her co-workers error and got us a table.
When cleaning, the staff did not fill up with cups, glasses, shampoo, soap, conditioner or tea.
Air-conditioning was barely functional, there was no information during check-in regarding activating the card in order to visit the pool- and gym area. The room that we finally ended up in was dirty, the sink was overflowing and the toilet was separate from the only sink, which was located by the bathtub. The bathroom door would not close all the way but left a gap. Breakfast left much to the imagination.
Very disappointed.

Located within a business park near Paddington station, lots of restaurants in the complex. Easy walk to Paddington high st or little Venice, or catch a bus into the city. Room lovely. Really nice breakfast both cooked and continental.

The only good thing about this hotel is its location. Walking distance from Paddington metro station.
Thought it is 4 star, no bellboy.
they donât clean the room properly. They donât change the bedsheets, pillow covers daily. Towels are so thin and very bad quality.
Very bad smell from the sink. No body lotion in the room. Hair dryer is so bad. No way that you can dry your hair.
If you order from room service, it take very long and they charge 5 extra pound to bring to the room which doesnât make logical sense.
