Stayed there a night and although they gave you a wifi password, there's no wifi signal?? The dinner was so-so and so was the breakfast. This is probably a hotel which people stay to have a break in their journey between two points (ie. Padang-Bukit Tinggi). The hot water takes a while to come but the water pressure is quiet good. Rooms need upgrading and due to the cool location on a hilltop, no aircon is provided. A lot of black ants were inside the rooms and some in my party of 50 pax had to change rooms due to the black ants invasion. It can be quiet spooky at night as the rooms are scattered all over the hotel grounds and you need to walk to the rooms with some without wheelchair or luggage with wheels access.

Its a great room and excellent view. Dinner is good too. We had some wifi problems, but staff is friendly. Climate can be rather cold, so bring good clothing. The hotel is located far outside the city side, so you need a car.

The hotel ground are really nice. Comes with family.
The service however are somewhat below standard. We ordered a suite for family however upon arrival without notice they change the room and break the booking in to 2 smaller rooms. And wiithout further compensation.
Since it's a peak season we don't have much choice. The Staff could have telephone us and make the arrangement before hand.Disappointing

After viziting Pekanbaru we travelled to Bukittinggi with the car.
We stayed overnight at this resort. The vieuw is amazing, special if you sit at the restaurant in the morning for breakfast and your vieuw is overlook at Maninjau lake.
All the pain and tiring from long driving are gone once when you see that panorama.
The service is good as a 5 stars hotel though the age of the resort is not able to hide the old ambience. When we left the place after lunch, the mist began covered the area.
It reminds me of Switzerland, mountain and mist.
