I stayed for a short but really nice time in this Hostel. I could see the Lisboa river from my bed, so quite nice to wake up. The location was really good and people were nice. Just try it and chill there.

I loved this hostel and the people working/volunteering here. It felt like meeting a new family. I stayed in the 6 bunk/all women room which had a private restroom which was very nice. They provide large closets for storing baggage, and small safes to store money/passport/ipod/etc. there are no lockers though for baggage. Breakfast and dinner service is available for a small price. I loved the back patio for enjoying the sun and having some beers with new friends. Thank you for a wonderful first experience in Lisboa <3

we stayed in the private double room with ensuite bath. it is a spacious room and bath but on the top floor of the apartment building next door and therefore has compromised head space (inclined ceiling) and an awkward window situation: one window looking out faces directly to shared patio so you cannot open or roll up the blinds without sacrificing privacy. (you can also hear any conversation happening immediately outside.) other openings are in the roof, which is helpful to let air in, though challenging with rain (which we experienced). the skylight in the bath remains closed and it is therefore very poorly ventilated. a great shower with huge tub, enough space to sit, even, but steam takes legitimately HOURS to clear and any odors linger, too. the fan is tiny and hardly does anything... clearly an issue as there is visible mold. not ideal.
shared space, however, is great. a lovely little patio and living room / bar area that are very charming. kitchen is open, well lit and ventilated. there is coffee/tea available (DIY) and it seems you can use the space to prep meals, though i didn't. staff is super friendly and the location in town is great. definitely a youthful vibe.

Without a doubt the coolest hostel ive ever stayed in. Chilled and good vibes all round. You get a stunning view from the top dorm, also Oasis could not be in a better location. El miradouro de Santa Catarina is just up the road and is a very neat spot. The garden is literally magical and the breakfast hookups are beautiful. :p
Big shout out to all the Oasis staff for making me feel at home! Muito Obrigado Giulia, Michel, Alex, Camila, Andrea, Erick, Mariana, Vinnie, Nadia, Douglas, Clementine and who could forget my bro Henry!
I dont think i'll ever forget you guys, it was a sick trip and i hope to be back soon!

Great atmosphere and comfy social areas, also with a bar and garden. We had a great time because of the other guests, but it must be said the (volunteer) staff were not professional and the kitchen was effectively out of bounds in the evening while the hostel 'chef' used it. Also, there weren't many bathrooms and they were generally dirty and messy. Great if you want a social time in a surf-house type place with lots of drinking, but avoid if you want a quiet and/or professionally run hostel.
