If you want to stay in a place where it's simple, casual and you receive a stay-at- home hospitality and feel, go to Ondas.. I am from Calcutta so food was very much relatable as back at home. The staff is very friendly and will cater to all your needs, big or small. Best part about this place is that its private as the rooms are located and placed in such a way that you don't get disturbed. And the place is near about places to shop, eat and near the beach as well so no problem of touring around if you have your bike. Overall, for people who are looking for comfort at a very reasonable rate at a pretty locale this is the place to be.

The place is old
,walls are not clean,
cockroaches can be seen in small size
When I was there the water was cut off for 6 hours,
Location is good,
Staff are friendly,
Fruit flies were in bathroom,
My bathroom had hair dryer installed,
Not going back.

Hello All . Please go through my review in detail . If you book this hotel believe me you will be making the biggest mistake of your life . This is truly a 1 star property. Phase 1 resort is 20+ years old . They don't even provide basic toiletries like toothpaste or shampoo sachet.Also breakfast is awful.They only provide omelette and cold bread pieces. Also this resort is fairly far from calangute or baga beach . Not walk-able at all. It is 3.5 km from either beach.Also no room cleaning . Property is totally rusty. They don't have power backup as well. Also on power if you switch on geyser AC will not work and if power goes off it's totally dark . They don't even provide pillows with pillow covers . And the pillows which are provided looks like they have accumulated rust over a period of time and turned yellow. By reading all these circumstances you can visualize the situation of this resort. So guys make a wise choice and please it's my sincere request to not make a booking for this hotel .

I have stayed in the Hotel second time. First time I stayed in Phase1 which had smaller beds but excellent service. Hence I gave 4 star rating and had very good experience there. This time I stayed in Phase2 which is slightly expensive then Phase1 but had better rooms then Phase1 with bigger rooms. Let me highlight the good points for Phase2
1) Bigger rooms
2) Bigger Beds. Rooms were almost same as what was shown in different sites
3) Excellent location near to beach
4) Good Manager both night as well day. I really like there behavior.
5) They provided me pool facing rooms as per choice. I really appreciate this
Now points which need improvement
1) I was asked to check different bottles in the fridge of the room at time of check in which were almost 20 in number. I never asked for it, then why they were in the fridge and then I have to count it else can be charged for missing bottles. This is really strange. The fridge was almost packed and these bottles can fell as well when you open the door. It was really painful for me to care of these bottles.
2) So many cockroaches in the room and also red ants. I was cleaning them regularly myself.
3) The room cleaning time is from 10 to 6, however when I called for cleaning at 3, room was cleaned but bedsheets and towels were not changed as there was no spare one left. I was asked to get it done next morning. I think timing should be changed if this is the case
4) We were asked to wear swimming costume to enter pool, however I see young people who were in large groups in shorts and girls in T shirts and Jeans entering the pool. Are you afraid to stop those people to avoid any fights and ask families to follow rules since they will follow them. Due to this the pool was also very dirty by evening.
However, I will still recommend this hotel because of its location, budget and room size along with good hotel staff behavior.

Place for decent stay ... good rooms and service on request.
Food is good but is delivered late. Cook is always frustrated and upset with you as if you are the employer. Name of the game is Wait.
Looks like run by a miser so nothing is available automatically ... you ask and they provide in sometime and not instantly as they want to see if you insist.
WiFi password was given to us on day2. . We asked for it once we checked in and the staff said manager has the details and he is "busy" .... the manager was invisible until it was time for us to go out that day. We returned late in the night and the guy in the reception accompanied by two dogs sleeping in the reception area says he is not aware of the new password but gives you login ID.
So this is good stay as long as you plan to spend most of your time on the beach and come back for a nap.
