I have zero allergies but I had a sneezing fit on my first few nights in one of their old suites. Emphasis on the 'old'âthe place looks and feels outdated. And while I always love an old Manila charm, they should start cleaning their rooms more. They have a good breakfast buffet, though.

When I first walked into our room I was surprised at how tiny it was but for the price I paid it was fair. I am unlikely to return however as we had a few incidents. Firstly, the toilet flooded during the night. Not sure why but maintenance did correct the issue for us. Then we went to use the shower and there was no working hot water. Maintenance was called again where they were unable to fix the issue, problematic when youâve got places to be in Manila. We did however get upgraded which was appreciated.

Pros and Cons of OGS
Pros
1. Very accommodating staff and check-in was a breeze
2. We were upgraded to an executive suite from a family suite without extra charge
3. The room was very clean and big for a family of 4
4. There was nothing extraordinary with breakfast but there was a wide variety of choices and the food was good.
5. The staff from the information, maintenance, housekeeping, restaurant was very helpful and kind
6. The guards were very helpful too
Cons
1. It took a while before they set-up our extra bed but probably it was because of the hotel was fully booked and they had to do a lot of setting up
2. The parking is small so you have to be there early but the guards made a way to accommodate everyone

For the place and amenities this hotel was worth what I paid for. There was parking, the front desk is rather prompt, 2 elevators for 11 floors so no elevator traffic.
Room had an odd initial smell, slightly musty but you get used to it. Amenities included wifi, flatscreen tv with cable, water heater, hair dryer. They had complimentary shampoo, conditioner, soap and toothbrush/nonflouride toothpaste. No comb. There was a solitary mosquito in the room. The bed was soft and comfy (it had an egg crate mattress lining). Pillows were soft but a bit too narrow for me. Bathroom was clean and lighting was bright. The lighting in the room was a but dim. Creaky floors.
There were in hotel spa services but they were fully booked when I called for one.
The breakfast was a bit of a turn off... There was ample food but I guess it was just not to my taste (no bacon!)
All-in-all I would recommend this hotel to someone who wants to stay in the area and is on a tight budget. The rooms don't look like the pictures tho, but it rarely does anyway.

The hotel had great customer service, and the place was nice and clean, and close to where we wanted to go. The breakfast area was nice. There was a small pool, which was also nice, but we didnt use it.
