Hike Pyrenees booked us in here for three nights as an add on after our wonderful Village to Village self guided week of walking through the Valley de Tena. The hotel is a 5 minutes drive from Torla, very well placed for exploring the Ordesa National Park, and at the end of September we were able to use our own car, rather than the shuttle bus, to access the park. We had a spacious room with balcony, fridge, powerful shower, good bedside reading lights, and plenty of storage. Twin beds made up as a double didn't have rhe usual uncomfortable central ridge, and we had a generous duvet. There is a separate small bar, and a good saloon area divided up by sofas and chairs. Plenty of choice for breakfast, picnics and dinner. It is a fairly large hotel, so slightly lacks atmosphere, but the staff managed to be helpful, efficient and friendly.

We spent three nights here as part of our visit to the National Park. We found the Hotel a very good place to stay for visiting the Ordesa Valley. The shuttle bus stops at the Hotel and the restaurant is very good and we found the fixed price menu of the day to be a good value.

This is a lovely hotel, and really well-placed if you want to explore the Ordesa Valley. Great service, charming room, nice people, good food, very good bar meals. The main restaurant is perhaps a little formal for my tastes, and quite expensive, but that's the only criticism - otherwise, first-rate, and I'd stay here again any time

The Ordesa Valley is gorgeous and this hotel is beautifully located just shy of the town on the way up towards the national park. But it just feels really expensive for what you get.
Firstly, there is no air conditioning! This is kind of a big deal in Spain in July and August... When I pointed this out to the staff I was told we could sleep with the window open. Fine... except if you're sleeping on the pool side of the hotel, the extremely noisy filter switches on every 20 minutes and disturbs your sleep. And the pool isn't even as nice as it looks on the pictures - when we were there the water was cloudy and too cold.
These may sound like small things, and they would be if you were paying under EUR 100 per night. But I paid close to EUR 250 (admittedly in high season), with breakfast not included. Incidentally the breakfast costs EUR 10 per head, even for kids. That just isn't right - kids under 12 should be half price.
Finally, we left an iPhone charger behind in the room and when I wrote to the hotel asking if they had found it, I received no reply.
All in all, a great location, but I was sorry that there wasn't more attention to the basics in this pricy hotel.

Accommodation was alright. Air conditioning didnât work very well, regardless of how cool we had the settings. We had a nice dinner at the restaurant. Obviously great location to go hiking in the nearby National Park!
