The property is breathtakingly beautiful. We had a lake facing room and it was nothing short of a dream. We had a superb time in the evening looking at the sunset by the pool. The food was delicious and the staff members (all of them) are warm and super efficient. Would love to come back to this property anytime. Instead of staying in Munnar, I will anyway prefer staying at this place and enjoy the backwaters! It was my sister's birthday and Mr.Jobin had arranged for a cake which was just perfect! Loved the stay!

I visited here a while ago with my family for a few days. It was magical and my friends decided on a trip to Thanjavur and I reccommend we stay here even though it was little further for the wonderful ambience and service.
The food over here is one of the most authentic in south indian cuisine. The swimming pool was as large and clean as always, a perfect opportunity for quality family time.
I love this place and would definitely stay here every time I visit Tanjavur or Kumbakonam!

We were there in the second week of Jan 2018 as a family. In fact it was 3 families all with kids of age ranging from 1 to 7.
The access was not very difficult, thanks to google maps. But the drive from Cochin airport to the resort was jam packed. So, Travelers please plan atleast 2.5 hours from the airport, even though it is a mere 68 kms.
The location is very nice and quiet. They could do with a bit of hoardings directing customers in remote turnings but no complaints.
The Reception staff were very receptive and accommodating even at 10 pm (which is when we checked in). Check in and Check out processes were very quick.
The Room itself
The Room was a family room which had a walk in wardrobe and a bathroom. There was a queen sized bed and a separate single bed which was convenient.
In room amenities :
- Water kettle
- Tea, coffee, sugar etc
- Cups
Aircondition was working fine. Remote was out of battery.
Bathroom :
- Beautiful Design
- Spacious
- 24/7 hot water
Restaurant :
- Very responsive
- Taste of food was very good
- Food was hot / fresh
- Food Quantity can be slightly more but no complaints
Facilities :
- Infinity Pool - very good / clean
- waterway - well maintained
- Spa - the usual
- House Boat - quite expensive
Overall a very good experience. A special shout out to Mr. Jobin (Manager) for making things happen.

Stayed one day at Paradise resorts with friends. Not over crowded since only 12 cottages are there. Stayed in lake view room; spacious room ,awesome view of lake. A calm and good place to relax. We had a two hour back water cruise, the boat was arranged by the resort staff. There are good restaurants nearby for those who don't want food from the resort restaurant. The complementary breakfast was Ok, with limited menu. There is canal within the resort and a small swimming pool. Overall a pleasant experience

the view from the hotel was just too good, the location of the hotel is also very good.
the only issue we faced here is with the booking of house boat. before booking the hotel, we confirmed from them that we will get 3 hours boat ride for 5250 but while checking we did not receive that. although the manager helped us for next day ride at bit higher price but due to time constraint we could not.
overall the staff was courteous, the environment , room etc was just too good.
i will really recommend to stay in this hotel if you plan to travel to kumarakom.
