The price for the room with bathroom was very attractive. Room was very nice equipped. Perfect for business stop. However you need to add 35 eur for parking and 45 eur for breakfast and then total looks average if you take into consideration that is outside centrum. However near main road so just good for business stop.

The service at this hotel was very poor and cleanliness standards left a lot to be desired.
I arrived early evening to be advised my room wasn't quite ready but if I would like a voucher for a free drink at the bar I could wait there. After waiting at the bar for about 15 minutes somebody finally appeared to serve me. I finished my drink and returned to reception and was given the key to my room. On entering I put my case on the bed and noticed blood on the sheets. I returned to reception and requested another room, after a further delay I was assigned another room with clean sheets. It was by now too late to shower before the restaurant shut so I just washed my hands only to discover there were no towels in the room. Another trip to reception and I was told I could go and eat and there would be towels in the room by the time I returned which did happen. the food in the restaurant was of a reasonable standard although the menu was a little limited in choice, and the service reasonably good. After dinner I returned to the bar for a nightcap and after a prolonged wait went to reception to see if I could get a drink. Eventually the waitress from the restaurant who also seemed to be running the bar appeared and treated me to a drink, apologising for the delay.
This was my first visit to Poland so I am unable to draw comparisons with other Polish hotels, however as a seasoned traveller I can honestly say this was one of my worst hotel experiences whilst travelling.

Friendly and helpful staff at reception and the bar. Housekeeping very good and room clean. Rooms are spacious and well appointed. The bathroom is a good size, the shower being big in size, powerful and hot. However, the walls are on the thin side. Fortunately I had good neighbours and was only disturbed the one time. I was there for a conference and we were provided with lovely cakes, pastries as well as an assortment of teas, coffee and water. Topped up at all times, which was appreciated. The breakfast is very good and it was hard to choose between everything. The freshly made omelette was super. The evening menu was good and prepared to a high standard. It was quiet though so lacked atmosphere and on the pricier side. Location wise, it's a 15 minute walk into the centre of Katowice and a taxi from the shopping mall was only 11 zloty. In short I had a good stay thank you.

Reception fine, and reasonably friendly. Room clean and a decent size, but funny beds with hard mattresses - personally I am not averse to these, though others in the group found them very uncomfortable - and odd lumpy pillows. Thanks heavens the double glazing was good so there was no external noise - but internally between rooms there was, and a dinner meant that the restaurant was full and dinner was only offered in a separate room. The bathroom was fine, with all the basics. Breakfast varied and fair quality, with fresh fruit and reasonable coffee - and a counter for freshly prepared omelettes. The hotel is about 20 mins easy walk from the centre, but itself is on a sort of business park - not a very nice area to be in a hotel.

We stayed at this hotel for one night when our train broke down and we missed a connection. It was easy walking distance form the train station and we able to walk in off the street and get a room immediately. Checkin was quick and the staff were very helpful and friendly.
The room was great except the bed was made for only 1 person . This was remedied quickly with a phone call to reception.
