Park Hyatt hotel once again is a true gem of a hotel. It is by far the most beautiful and exceptional hotel I have ever stayed in and what makes it special are the staff! They are so attentive, so efficient and so genuinely warm and care about you! Special shout to Sean at the front desk and the guys on the ground who made my stay another unforgettable experience.

The hotel design very zen. If you expecting a bright light. This is not for you. Overall the design very wood/zen style and clean. A lot of odd space in the hotel although that could be the signature. Very close to mall and train station located near comex.

I had a 16 hour layover in Seoul, and was fortunate enough to have a friend in town also staying at the park hyatt. I arrived pretty late in the evening, and was impressed by the property. The rooms are extremely modern and relatively spacious with Aesop products being used. The location was central to everything i needed, and the building just screamed modern luxury. When I arrived however, I found the attendant a little too eagar to open the door and get me out so he could get other guests into the cab- it was -15C, and not pleasant to have the cold air keep blasting at me while the attendant kept the door wide open.
Overall, my stay was pleasant, and the staff downstairs getting me cabs were very nice, however they did give my cab to a western lady who was checking out and asked that I wait. I was definitely downstairs before the western lady came down, so I can only attribute the skipping of line to her being in a rush (she didn't seem it), she was white (doubtful, but plausible), them thinking I was not a guest, or I was a bum (i was dressed down)- not a huge deal since i wasn't in a rush, and the lady was very thankful, but still a little disturbing to be asked to wait for the next cab while i was clearly next in line.
I also found the attendants outside to be a little dismissive- after spending so much time in asia as an asian looking gentleman, I do think there is perhaps judgement from locals if one is dressed down. I sure hope it isn't the case, and I didn't care enough to raise a fuss, but perhaps mgmt should request staff not to judge books by their covers.

Whether I travel for business or leisure, I always choose Park Hyatt Seoul, Their service is excellent and I just love their room...and yeah the room with the view..the best view in Seoul (: The room are spacious and beautifully designed.

Stayed here for two nights this week. Was a decent room l, large if a little dated, and the hotel lifts were odd, you need to go up and then down. Lifts are slow. Had room service breakfasts both days and the food was only ok. Service was quick though. The location is okay but Seoul is quite spread out so it can be a journey to get anywhere.
