Stayed here in early November, and found this to be a great little hotel, bit of a walk into the centre but not a problem for us, beds nice and comfy, rooms are nicely done to match the hotel style with good en suite.
Staff very friendly and helpful, breakfast very good, nice garden, we are thinking of going back to Porto, this time with our daughter and her boyfriend, and if available again we would definitely stay here again, very enjoyable, and very comfortable.

What a find this place was, perhaps I should not share as might get booked up quickly!
The staff have got the right balance here. They let you get on with your holiday but are really helpful if you want something.
The breakfast is excellent value at 5 euros per person, really fresh and excellent coffee and believe me I am coffee fussy! The bread here was a lot fresher than some of the bigger hotels we went to later in our holiday.
The place is kept very clean. Ok it is at the top of a hill but Porto itself is hilly.
So a big thank you to Daniel and all the staff. Keep up the good work.

Cheap but clean hotel and in a strategic location, especially if you arrive in Porto by car. Small but functional room, my window on the second floor was on the street but there was no traffic noise. Very beautiful interiors, mid-style between baroque and art deco. We did not try the breakfast but it looked great, especially if tasted in the beautiful garden at the back of the building.

Good location,you can walk easily in the heart of Porto. Large and comfortable room,helpful personnel.Room was cleaned every day. Parking is 30 meter away. Price was affordable.A very good option for accommodation.

Lovely building with grand old style, cheap, clean, friendly staff, within walking distance of city centre, mind you the walk is steep, as the hotel is located on a hill, but there is a metro stop nearby, for those not comfortable with the idea walking a bit. Even though the place doesn't serve breakfast, once in the centre, there are so many places for it, on a plus side they are offering a selection of cold drinks for you to purchase. The reception isn't manned all the time, but that's not a problem, as on check in you are given set of keys, for your room and the front door. Rooms are very generous sized, on a chili side, as the old windows need replacing, but they have provided additional heater and blankets on request. Overall very good price for a good service in good location, will recommend.
